31 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Buonasera!
01 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: By that logic France & Italy are going for the solo as well.
01 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2001: Hahahahaha, comrade... there's a new Italy in town! This one is agreeable. Happy to have you all over for spaghetti and a nice chianti.
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Italy voted draw. Two players left: Russia, France.
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Just Russi now
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: If he doesnt voe draw, its clear he wants to solo and we all must stop the beast of the north.
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Yes please.
06 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Russia
It will be a united Europe up against you .
06 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Can you guys let England sail his fleet up North? (Without threatening his sc's of course.)
06 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Same for Turkey and Italy. We need to assist them in moving a front line.
06 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: I'm not sure where you guys expect the 17 SCs I need to win to come from but whatever...

I really don't feel like a 7 way draw in a 50 point pot.

I would also like to make Germany pay for her unprovoked attack on the great mother Russia. I guess I should of turned on Turkey as well when Ankara was available for the taking but you know I'm sure he would like to forget all the seasons where I didn't stab him.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: cmon russia there is only one original player from the game. This thing was a mess CDs NMRs galore. Lets all take 7.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: True, but there are countries like Italy who I could wait on to get eliminated and draw with fewer players.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: I want to see Britain taken out of the pot. Britain has been a loose cannon on this map whose actions, especially against the French, have put operations in jeopardy. It is for the good of a stable, united Europe that Britain be taken out.
Otherwise, who knows when they will decide to take a jab at the mainland?
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Waiting a week or two for me to get KO'ed would gain you a single point.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Are you kidding Italy? you are so divided all over that it would take one turn to reduce you to half your size.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. Phases are three days. Even if you take all my centers in one year that would still take at least a week in real life.

And you'd gain a single point.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: Russia, back when things were still okay between us I went through the effort to move out of Lit to give it back to you. It first appeared you left the game so I took it but upon realizing you just missed a turn I deliberately walked out of it for you. But since you've been growing in size, you kept on piling units along my borders and massing fleet. If I'm supposed to sit around and wait for you to make the first strike, by the time you do, we will already have lost all chance. And you know this. Everyone knows this.

And another thing, Russia. You struck Baltic Sea the same time I did. You've been setting this up the whole time, regardless of if I would attack you or not.

About Italy and England. I don't know what the hell Italy is doing. But I had a different experience with England. To me he has been very reliable thus far. I really still just hope we can counter engage Russia and bring him down or force him to a draw. (When Russia looks like he's has no chance, I will retract my draw vote temporarily to finish him off.)

I hear many concerns about the points. Personally I don't care about the points anymore, because the game is simply unfun to play. The game has been shifting attention to whoever has been benefitting from NMR's the most this game. Italy was the one who took advantage of this first. Then when he missed a turn and we got the advantage, he left and Russia steamrolled through his lands. Russia gained massive power in an undeserved way. It's simply not fun to play.

But let's still do the math about the points:
Everyone here, except Britain, is a replacing player. That means we paid 0 to play this game and would gain 7 if we were to draw (Britain would get 2). If we draw right here and now, we all get a profit of 7 just like that. Or we continue to play and take out Italy and Britain as some have suggested. The pot becomes 50/5=10 each. That's 3 extra points, but at the large risk of Russia becoming much larger again in the meantime. Remember that taking out Italy means handing Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria over to Russia. Russia is already setup to invade me and with just a few units he can invade Turkey as well. OR we simply draw right here and now and we take our 7 points of profit. OR we can simply cancel if you have some ethical point of view that none of us deserves the points. I will even cast my cancel vote right now.
07 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2002: When did I strike Baltic Sea? Only after you attacked me. Also, things kind of fractured between us, I didn't really trust you as much because you said that you would disband the unit in Lithuania but you instead retreated it.
07 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: Personally I have started to really like this game, and has been very fun for me to play. While each NMR changed the game dramatically that is also what kept me coming back, to see what the new challenge is or how the map has changed. The only time it was unfun was when Italy had us all in a perpetual stalemate, and it was a freaking hassle to get everyone here on the same game plan.
But other then that, the wars, treaties, alliances and backroom deals that have gone on in this game are exactly what I want from a Diplomacy game. Not to mention how energetic this global chat has become.
07 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: Also, I don't understand how Britain was reliable to you when we were planning to naval invade Britain back when Italy was at it's height for being a loose cannon.
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: I see people mentioning me
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: lol yeah
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: half the debate on whether or not we should continue is whether you should live or not. Sorry.
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: I honestly think Britain should, considering he never NMR'd
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 2002: Spare me and I will give you a lifetime supply of fish and chips
27 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2004: I hope Paris and Madrid burn down
27 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2004: I hope London realizes the supremacy of the Spanish race, and our tapas.
27 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2004: SACRILEGE
27 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 2004: MARGARETTI!
02 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2004: let's all drink to a Russian solo
02 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2004: It was gonna happen anyways, let's be honest

05 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 2004: it is done
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Well that was a wuick round :)
Who are you guys again ? :)))
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Quick , not wuick what ever that is spellcheck
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2005: Even spellcheck has joined me in my fight against france and spain lol
09 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 2005: At least they realized you were the biggest threat all along. If only we could all be that enlightened.
14 Dec 17 UTC Good game! I'm not sure why Germany felt like he had to throw the game in my favor because even though I eventually would of powered through him it would been a slog and giving the other countries time to realize my true intentions. Turkey, if you hadn't missed so many turns I actually might of been stopped even with Germany throwing the game.
14 Dec 17 UTC Your true intentions were clear as day long before I threw the game. Spain and France simply had no intention to help and were sabotaging those who were making an effort. This whole game was a farce. Basically you won the game due to nmrs being in your favor
14 Dec 17 UTC *cough* *cough* Turkey.

If you hadn't thrown the game France and Spain would have finished off England and Italy and then realized I was a threat and done everything they could to stop me.
14 Dec 17 UTC good game Russia and Germany, you too were actually the ones I enjoyed working with
14 Dec 17 UTC Yes, but me and England would not live to see it. I don't care what happens beyond me getting wiped. If I must lose either way, then I choose the quick option to stop wasting time and effort.
14 Dec 17 UTC I would of fought because I would of had a very good chance at a Draw with a one or 2 SCs still left.
14 Dec 17 UTC Personally, I knew Russia was a threat, but what could I do? Turkey blocked one front, the entirety of Europe blocked another, and England was in the way of any fleets I could send.
Taking England out of the equation was the quickest way France or myself could fight Russia.
14 Dec 17 UTC Also, I have seen England flip and flop too many times to trust them with taking down Russia. Same with Turkey, who had many opportunities but never too advantage of them.
15 Dec 17 UTC Spain is actually right on one thing, I always had good relations with Russia
15 Dec 17 UTC after I pulled my units away from the Barents sea I never planned another invasion of Russia. So points to spain on that I guess
