28 Apr 17 UTC That game was crazy with all the people popping in and out again.
28 Apr 17 UTC very! a few lazarus moments for sure.
28 Apr 17 UTC such behaviour is rather natural. there is another feature of the game I can not inderstand. When you just begin to cooperate with someone against someone else, your ally quickly betrays you seeking for a handful of your SCs ! It is funny that he usually doesn`t benefit from it at all ! Such tactics just creates a mess. It would be much more reasonable to completely eliminate common enemy in the very begining and only after that start to fight each other.
28 Apr 17 UTC Huh I never noticed that Corsica was part of Tuscany before. Isn't Corsica French?
28 Apr 17 UTC Seems like it should get colorated with Marseilles or something.
28 Apr 17 UTC a well timed stab is the most important decision in the game! and I am pretty certain that historically Corsica was Italian or Genoan or something until somewhere around 1800 when the French took it over.
28 Apr 17 UTC But for this timeline you are probably right.
28 Apr 17 UTC @hedin, fighting two countries with 3 centers each is much better than fighting one with six. So it actually is often not very good to completely eliminate a common enemy (especially in gunboat). The draw-size scoring does promote elimination though.
28 Apr 17 UTC for example, in this game England initially cooperated with me against Germany but then stabbed me. In this game people are obsessed with quick betrayals. But just look at the map and see the result !
28 Apr 17 UTC I enjoy playing Germany - all fronts war. I rely on the stabs between my enemies!
28 Apr 17 UTC Made some mistakes in Scandinavia this time I think though.
28 Apr 17 UTC I wish you would have waited one more turn to call the draw. I was contemplating stabbing Italy for Venice and Smyrna next turn. It would have been exciting!
28 Apr 17 UTC that would have relieved pressure on my southern front I imagine! too bad.
28 Apr 17 UTC that would have relieved pressure on my southern front I imagine! too bad.
28 Apr 17 UTC Probably would have ended with the same result though. Awful hard to take Tunis and/or Turkey with 1 or 2 fleets.
28 Apr 17 UTC very.
28 Apr 17 UTC Sry dudes. Had something come up. Didn't matter though. I blundered with Spain (nc)! Germany got the better of me. I wish there were fewer missed moves, especially from Russia.
28 Apr 17 UTC (nc) was a gift ha! but I think I was squarely on the defensive by the end regardless.
