12 Apr 17 UTC Well done France. I think my troubles began in Spring 01 when I was assigned Russia and couldn't talk to anyone :P decided to throw my lot in with Austria only to have him give two free builds to Turkey, so most of my game was spent playing defense for the Sea. Only looked as powerful as I did because I got insanely lucky in Scandinavia mid-game, but I was obviously overextended. Thankfully Itally proved a better partner than Austria for containing the Turk.
12 Apr 17 UTC Good game everyone
12 Apr 17 UTC Italy, you lost Trieste in Fall04 because you tried to support-hold a unit which you had moveig to Budapest. Support holds only work if the unit doesn't move, and that attack couldn't have helped you. Made me nervous because Turkey kept getting bigger :P
12 Apr 17 UTC yeah thanks for that. I am still a bit new. So I am learning some of the ins and outs of this game.

Russia, I will say. If we could have beat turkey a few turns earlier, we may have been able to put up more of a defense against france. Who knows.

But your right, my screw up with Trieste, and Austria letting turkey gain those two slowed the game down. Also France was super trust worthy with their builds at the beginning, and I really couldn't have fought a two sided war at the beginning and mid game.
12 Apr 17 UTC gg france.

Well done. you played a clean and fast game.
12 Apr 17 UTC Italy, it really was the second Turkish build at the start. I couldn't commit units North or Middle to establish a stalemate line because I needed all 5 units just to hold Rum-Sev. As soon as I leave to stop France, Turkey kills me and we still all lose to France :P that's the intrigue and the trouble of silent games!
12 Apr 17 UTC Good game! I shoulda hit Brest. Didn't want to bounce. That really helped France get going strong. Well played!
