13 May 17 UTC it was only a matter of time... gg ATC
13 May 17 UTC no i messed up trying to shift forces. but the collapse of france and england was not helpful. still second in this group is not bad
13 May 17 UTC You're not second. You tied for sixth.
13 May 17 UTC Brad, you completely and utterly fucked up in 1914. Collapse of England and France had nothing to do with it. Germany only had four(!) fleets in F1913 and there was no need to leave the Adriatic.
13 May 17 UTC Wasting your breath 2WL
13 May 17 UTC For a player who thinks they came in second in a solo, you're probably right
13 May 17 UTC My new personal record: surviving three seasons without a single unit.
13 May 17 UTC well austria you sure dazzled me with your play
13 May 17 UTC but he was right all of the centers needed were in england anyway
13 May 17 UTC so another game?
14 May 17 UTC I already made and started them
14 May 17 UTC gg everyone. I think the key season was F01, where I didn't bounce Sweden.
14 May 17 UTC Brad- England taking the Iberian centres from me could have been key, if you'd taken Vienna from me. I wasn't able to hold it perfectly until I took Budapest.

I also think you enter too many support holds. It made your moves predictable.
14 May 17 UTC In reality, I just wasn't fast enough to get up to the support line and Austria collapsed too fast.
14 May 17 UTC Austria collapsed too fast lol. I was gone long before Germany was a solo threat.
14 May 17 UTC i want you as a bulwark so i could get forces north.
14 May 17 UTC and why does valis always seem to end up in iberia?
14 May 17 UTC You don't know what you want from one turn to another. That's the kind of mindset that leads you to think you came in "second" on a solo board.
14 May 17 UTC this from someone 'swept' from the game. i see defeated next to austria
14 May 17 UTC Calm down, Brad.
14 May 17 UTC I'm not excited. I would like to have done better but I fell I did well against this crowd and will do better in the future
14 May 17 UTC Maybe you're just trying to wind him up, but I think 2WL got eliminated because of poor strategic decisions by Italy - Italy piling in ultimately let me hold Moscow, Warsaw and Vienna. His death contributed to the solo, but I don't think it was Austria's fault.

Anyway, I enjoyed both these games, and learnt things in each. I hope everyone else did too.
14 May 17 UTC I'd rather be defeated on a solo board than survive knowing that I was directly responsible for the solo. There's no satisfaction in that.
14 May 17 UTC I hardly think I am directly responsible
14 May 17 UTC You let me keep Vienna. Without it, I'd be on 17.
14 May 17 UTC I never had vienna. If I had it would have been a draw
14 May 17 UTC I don't give up Vienna.
14 May 17 UTC Specifically, from Autumn 1911 onwards I have to guess correctly at whether you'll support Italy to Tyrolia or cut Gal and try to get Vienna. If you guess right, then I can't solo without Portugal- which England can keep me out of (which he did).

You could have kept going for one of those every turn, but because you weren't, I was able to make more relaxed orders in the south.
