07 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: All ready?
08 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I was ready before it started ;-)
27 Apr 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Sorry for the wait, guys. Traveling and I need the extra time. Will be back in a day or so and can proceed at a normal pace then.
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sorry for the lack of attention lately. There's been a medical situation in the family and this will continue for some time. I will enter moves to keep the game going but any real effort will sadly be minimal. I will vote draw so this will end when Russia wins or agrees to a draw.
12 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: Sorry to hear, I wish you strength and good health
14 May 17 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thanks.
18 May 17 UTC The situation is under control so I am back, just in time to witness Russia's victory parade. :-)
20 May 17 UTC Well done, Russia.
20 May 17 UTC This was my first game in years and I enjoyed it except for the sinking feeling when I realized I had trusted my ally for one turn too long. It's a good reminder that when you think you have the situation under control you may find that you have actually been taken to school.

Obviously, Russia played well (it's hard to win a game of Diplomacy when you don't) and managed to salvage a seemingly disadvantaged position when the first Russia didn't enter moves in S1901. On a couple of occassions I was about to attack him but changed my mind. I think our cooperation worked well, all the way until I stabbed France and got wishy-washy in my decision making.

I like chatty games and I find it interesting to note that the chattiest player won while England, Germany and Italy communicated very little (at least with me) and very often readied their moves without a word. France and Austria were active, too, but Austria got mobbed almost from the start and never saw the light of day.

Thanks for playing, everyone.
20 May 17 UTC Congratulations Russia.
When France and Russia stabbed me at the same time, there was jot a lot for me to do. France then wanted to cooperate but stabbed me again. I then was just committed to annoy France.
20 May 17 UTC Haha, you did a good job at that, Germany.
