26 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Alliance? After England's garbage? Heavens no. He's a terrible player and I would rather lose than assist him in any way.
26 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: =)
28 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I find it ironic that England, the first one to ask someone else to finalize, is also the first one to CD.
28 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1904: I'm sure it was due to some head injury in his youth!
29 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: I'm in northern New England, and we got hit by a huge rainstorm and a follow up huge snow storm... lost internet access (not to mention phone and heat) for a couple days. Now I get back to going CD. Good game, anyway.
29 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: That sucks mate!
29 Jan 10 UTC Autumn, 1904: You should still enter moves and finalize!
31 Jan 10 UTC Spring, 1905: If someone else drops from the game, I suggest we draw. We've already had England kerpoof out. (Draw after devouring their soul, that is).

I had -hoped- having a 100 point game would prevent it, but an act of God ate England. Next game shall be 101 points!
01 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: ... A new England jumps in and wants a draw? Really?
01 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Lol.
01 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Alright, as soon as England is eliminated, I'd like to move for a draw. Apparently, Turkey missed a round or two too.
02 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: I missed a round but that did no matter for me.
05 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: I propose we draw next year after autumn.
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: This is starting to get really, really annoying. England keeps leaving and coming back, hoping to get a draw.
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Alright, as soon as this twit is eliminated, I'm gonna have to ask for a draw. I'm busy elsewhere, and this game is dragging on and on.
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Alright, due to England being a jerk and messing with the game, I move that we cease all hostilities in the game, pause it, if you will, allow me to eliminate him, and then draw. Would everyone agree to that?
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: No. No pause is necessary. England has 22 hours to enter his moves just like everyone else.
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: He keeps leaving and coming back, screwing with the game. That is highly rude. The game has ceased to be fun, so I've no desire to continue playing. He's acting like a multi, Italy, and I don't want to accuse any of you fine folks of cheating, so I'd rather just call the game a mulligan and try again with a minimum pot of 101.
07 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: If you have concerns about multi-accounting, please report the behavior to the mods: http://webdiplomacy.net/rules.php#Reporting

If you are not interested in playing anymore you are welcome to CD so that another, more invested player can pick up the slack.
08 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: So you're a jerk, Italy? Check. I'll remember that.
08 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yeah, I'm the asshole who relies on his diplomacy and his skills to win. Sorry for being such an asshole.
08 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: This isn't about diplomacy and skills. This is about England being a complete wanker and screwing up the game.
08 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: How is my behavior at all outside of the rules of the game? I have done nothing that violates any actual rules, only the psuedo-rules you seem to deem as "acceptible common practice". I will continue to play however I like, abiding by all actual gameplay rules, and if you are too distracted by my continued playing, then I suggest you stop attacking me.
08 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: I'll vote for the draw. I wonder if Germany and France are still interested.
08 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Hell, I'll vote for a cancel, too. France would like to mulligan and try again. No complaints here, but I'm not so sure that France and Germany actually want to draw.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I doubt they actually want a draw. They're just trying to justify denying my ability to order my fleet. France thought he had the island under wraps, and he didn't expect me to come back and be a nuisance. That being said, I did. He should deal with it without trying to paint me as immature for lasting longer that he hoped.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I paint you as immature for never confirming your orders, letting yourself drop out to get people to react a certain way, then jumping back in at the last second in order to screw with people. -That- is immature, and it is abusive of the system.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: So you'll draw or cancel, then?
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I'll certainly go for a draw once England is eliminated. If Turkey doesn't get a draw, neither does England.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I would say it is more obnoxious than immature. Then again, I couldn't confirm my orders for several turns, as I had no internet, and then, yes, I used it as a ploy to get you to commit fewer troops to my demise. You can call it abusive of the system, but I think of it more as a clever way of tricking a determined enemy. To each his own, I suppose.

09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Using loopholes in the code to circumvent the intent of the game -is- abusive. Period.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Where's the loophole? Why do you feel entitled to a CD opponent?
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: He admitted to going CD on purpose to lure me into thinking he was gone, then rejoining after the attack, timing it on purpose, to get maximum benefit. Essentially like walking away from the table during a game, and coming back during the retreats phase after telling your friends you're leaving, retaking your seat, and screwing people over. It's a matter of personal respect.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Nah, I think you're simply annoyed that he didn't make it easy on you and just CD.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: You make claims based on the mental condition and perspective of others.

I make claims based on the testimony of others.

I believe I'm standing on firmer ground, here.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: You are the whiniest player I've ever played.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: I'm not whining. You're being a stubborn jackass.
09 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1908: Piss and moan. It's all you do.
09 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1908: Allow me to clarify: I didn't intend to CD. I simply reopened my game after missing a few phases due to a huge blizzard. You can tell me I'm a clever deviant all you want, but I think my game play proves otherwise. ;-)
10 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I don't think anybody would ever intend to CD; it's such a drag when it happens. Several users have been hit hard by the blizzards and I'm not surprised that it's kept people from the game. Everyone ought to keep in mind that we live in the real world, and webDip is not the real world.
11 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Seems like we're hitting our stalemate lines. I offer again, let's just draw the game and end this ordeal.
11 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1909: I understand that France would want to eliminate England, but if France can't do it in a reasonable amount of time, it's unsportsmanlike.
11 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Well lets all lock in our moves and see if we can get this done.
11 Feb 10 UTC Spring, 1909: Good idea.
12 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Soon, the English terrorists will be no more!
12 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: Congrats on eliminating England, France.
13 Feb 10 UTC Autumn, 1909: England, let's not prolong this unnecessarily. Thank you.
14 Feb 10 UTC Draw. GGKTHNXBAI.
15 Feb 10 UTC GG everyone! Congrats Xyathn on holding on.
