19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well , oops. Did we not say this game was going to turn public press?
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good call!
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Right, I forgot.

Russia, I'll be disbanding Tuscany. I think they makes the most sense for me.
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good call Italy. I'm going to start angling for the British to help convoy me into Belgium. I'd say I've definitely got his ear, and I'd rate my probability of landing there next fall around 80%
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Yeah, I'm sorry that my fleet disband ruined our plans to convoy StP - Smy, but I need to pursue my own seld-interest first.
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: I understand. Its not me, its you.
19 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hopefully we'll be able to make it work in the future.
22 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Thank you for the game, everyone. I wish you goodnight. I hope that you may be more successful in your rage against the dying of the light.
22 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Italy sleep tight. Poetic justice, right?
24 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good luck to Turkey. Everyone else: fuck off.

Maybe Russia doesn't need to fuck off.
26 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Germany and Russia. Sad to see you go. Wonderful to play with you.
26 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Excellent. I have friends to join me in the peanut gallery.
26 Feb 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Good luck ya'll. 4-way draws are boring. I hope someone takes a chance. It was a fun game.
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: How long are you two planning on dragging this game out?
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: How long should we?
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Can we let Austria solo? I liked Austria best.
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: :(. And here I thought you liked me best.
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: No, I'm still annoyed that you reneged on our 01 alliance.
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Not sure 01 alliances are a thing. But OK
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Well, they sure weren't for us.
28 Feb 17 UTC Spring, 1907: I still love Italians
01 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: So, good game Italy and Russia.
I know Austria and Turkey won´t be happy with what I have to say as they both expect me to stab France (and I pushed this idea), but at this point I don´t see any good reason to do this. I don´t think a 3-way instead of a 4-way is really worth and I also can´t see a solo shot to me from this position (and neither to Austria or Turkey). So, I am willing to settle for a 4-way draw (sorry Russia).
01 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: I already discussed it with England, but if this was a tournament, I'd probably get eliminated so everyone would improve their finish and get the few extra points. But since this isn't a tournament, and there's no real reason to cut me out of the draw (even though eliminating Turkey would still be easier and I'd do my damndest to throw the game to England) it isn't going to happen :)
01 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: England could not take enough of you to matter france---
01 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: TBH, I don't think im willing to draw yet
02 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: So what's your strategy going forward? The only players who can make any progress at this point are me and England. Unless you are planning on stabbing Austria, there's nothing else to be accomplished by not drawing.
02 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Then what are you afraid of? You should be able to easily stalemate them if that's the case.
02 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm loathe to waste my time on a game that will end with little to no change from its current state.
02 Mar 17 UTC Spring, 1907: Too bad
02 Mar 17 UTC It seems like the most likely path is both the AT and the EF staying together. No one is really in a position to stab their ally.
If England stabs France, hoping to make it into a 3WD, it would likely allow Austria to break through the Kiel line, and Turkey through the Tunis line. After that, one of them will try to solo, or they will try to two-way draw. Either way, England has a good chance of losing.
Alternatively, Austria could agree to back out of Berlin and Munich, giving England the space needed to stab France. However, this would give Turkey free reign over the med, and possibly putting him into a solo position.
02 Mar 17 UTC What a wet blanket you are.
02 Mar 17 UTC Just being honest. I'd also hate to see Turkey solo, since I promised he wouldn't if he killed me. I don't want England or Austria to allow that to happen.
02 Mar 17 UTC I am quite happy Germany isn't in the game anymore. And I think Italy's analysis is pretty accurate.
02 Mar 17 UTC There is plenty of game left. While I don't share Germany's bitterness, I do think there is a negative trend on the site where games are drawn much too quickly. Of course if players want to draw, that is their prerogative, but I see plenty of ways this game can go on and actually reach and end game.
02 Mar 17 UTC Not really sure why Italy needed to put his two cents in, but I do agree that there is more game here
02 Mar 17 UTC I found the two cents on the ground. I figured I should put them somewhere.
03 Mar 17 UTC Sorry guys, could I get a pause? I'm going to a wedding, and the Internet isnt that great.
03 Mar 17 UTC Done
04 Mar 17 UTC At WDC, I played an 8 hour game that should have drawn after 5 because a drunk Turkey kept claiming "there's more play on the board."
06 Mar 17 UTC I'm back now, so we can unpause :-)
06 Mar 17 UTC I still need it paused I'm really busy at work. Thanks.
07 Mar 17 UTC Boo to England and France for making this boring.

Good working with you ssorenn.

Italy, I had fun killing you.
07 Mar 17 UTC Thanks for eliminating me first, guys. It was fun. :P
07 Mar 17 UTC PW, please describe to me how in the hell you expected me to stab England in my current position...?

I also guessed that ssorenn was Turkey, since he was the bigger ass out of Austria and Turkey :)
07 Mar 17 UTC I didn't. Notice that I never really told you to. I was more annoyed that you put yourself in a situation where you were obviously playing for the 4wd and simultaneously leaving yourself open to England, and then magically he didn't stab you.
07 Mar 17 UTC I'm curious. What would have happened had England stabbed France?
07 Mar 17 UTC Probably 3wd with a slight chance of an AT 2wd.
07 Mar 17 UTC I won't stab France for a 3-way. An AT 2wd won't happen, it will be a Turkish solo if you try. I was tempted by the Turkish offer to stab Austria the same time I stab France, but he decided to draw.
07 Mar 17 UTC I made it pretty clear to England that if this was a tournament, I'd definitely get cut out of the draw. Since it isn't a tournament, there was no point in eliminating me, seeing as the possibility was there for either A or T to stab the other. If that was the case, I would have thrown for a long, drawn out solo.
07 Mar 17 UTC Thrown to England?
