Incredibly magnanimous of you, France! Thank you so much!
Good Game! Austria, you outwitted me several times. I was impressed.
Great comeback France. I thought I had you early on, but then Austria blitzed me right up the rear.
Good game, everybody. | |
Just glad I managed to retreat up north and blocked England enough to make him quit.
Sorry for turning on you so early, Austria...but with Russia moving 25% of his units (if that) each turn, you were gonna be on 18 centers before I reached 5. We patched things up nicely after that though.
Gg ... Why oh why did you attack me, Italy? I was trying to help you into Turkey and you got impatient.
Spring 1906....complete and total nightmare for the Italians. Jumped by France and Turkey at exactly the same time.
Because you were already on 10 centers while I was on 4 and getting nowhere. Plus Russia did not take Sevast when Turkey left. I was not getting any help!
I wasn't turning on you, at least until you started attacking me needlessly. You should have stayed with your Lepanto and we could have eliminated Turkey ... Oh well, good game all
I was hoping the rest of the players were going to play "Stop the solo" when France and Turkey decided I was unnecessary for that operation. Then I decided to go back to hammering Turkey. France seemed like a nice guy and probably new by some of his moves.
Yeah, probably a misjudgment on my part. I was thinking of moving Ionian to Aegean to help ensure I got a SC, but Russia was moving very infrequently and Turkey was staying on 4-5 defenders. And if I moved to Aegean, there's nothing really stopping you from taking all of Italy with all of your armies. I did have reasons.
Nothing except I wouldn't turn west while Russia and Turkey were alive and kicking.
True, Turkey was alive....but I wasn't so sure about Russia! Look at his moves in Spring 1901, Spring 1902, Spring 1903, Aurumn 1903....that's not kicking. That's more like rigor mortis setting in.
