09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: My condolences to the American players (if any) on the result of the presidential election. I hope you all stay safe.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: I feel a political discussion coming up :p
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Thank you. I feel as if I'm sitting in a septic tank. I never thought it was possible that we could get a racist, xenophobic, bigoted, hypocritical, sexist sex offender as our president.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Sigh, can't escape the crap here even. Thanks for ruining one of the few places we shouldn't have to listen to the BS. Go to a forum if you want to vent.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Apologies from Pennsylvania. I really thought we wouldn't go with him
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: No apologies needed. We are going to make america great again
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: *Corny American patriotic music plays*
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Can we just play the stinking game?!!
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Maybe. Or maybe I'll just go find the nearest locker room so I can 'vent.'
OK let's continue.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Britain, are the 90s so far past that you have forgot Billy Clinton! we survived that racist, xenophobic, bigoted, hypocritical, sexist sex offender and we will assuredly survive Trump. if you feel a moment of weakness or fear go ask Perez Hilton for a hug im sure he can console you.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: I'm not worried about us surviving; of course we will survive. What I'm worried about is what he and congress will do to this country. They don't believe in climate change, the right to choose, affordable healthcare, reasonable background checks or diplomacy. What they want is to bring back the America of yesteryear; a homogenous country where the white male rules supreme, at the expense of all others. At the very least, they have 2 years to do this; and I shudder to think about all that they can destroy.
But liberals are to blame too. When challenged with a situation like this, where the future of the country depends on their actions, they curl up in a corner, suck their thumb and cry "don't hurt me" as the conservitaves burn down the house. The American political system is screwed up. Clinton won a plurality of votes, but Trump will be our next president. How is that democratic?
I'm on the younger end of things, and it seems that the older generation is doing all it can to leave us a broken country.

Just so you don't think I'm some kind of party-lines liberal, I think that Trump's trade and infrastrucure policies are golden, and I hope he can get that done.
09 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Anyway, I'm with germany now, diplomacy anyone?
10 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Now I have to respond to that bullshit. Obama deballed this country. Most of the world leaders like him because he bowed to their desires, but they didn't respect him. This world has become a cesspool of whiny liberal children who everything handed to them by big brother (the government). So much of Europe is in chaos because of a FAILED diplomacy based on liberal ideals. They think everyone in the world is as pussy whipped as they are, but they are finding out there are bad people who want to hurt them. We didn't need more leadership that demeaned the military, we need someone who respects the military and the rule of law. We are ten times as divided as we've ever been since the civil war, yet liberals think Obama was awesome. Racism goes both ways, and he has used the DOJ as his personal attack dogs against any who disagree. Wait til you grow your adult teeth before you claim to know what the world needs. Strong leadership is all that will halt the growing threats. He has the balls to take control when nobody else is capable. Those in the world that insult the US for its strength are just jealous wimps who can't find the courage to defend themselves, instead they bitch about global warming (which has occurred in cycles as long as the earth has been here) while the political hacks cook the numbers to match their agenda... Meanwhile you women are being raped and assaulted all over Europe by those you "rescued" from conflict. Train them to fight and send them back to take their own damned territory back! Now, do you want to continue to prove you are a sniveling asswipe, or do you want to continue the game?
10 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Choosing to remain neutral here because I'm too weak in this game to argue with anyone about politics
10 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: And if you are curious where I get me passion? I spent two years in West Berlin before the wall came down. The people of Berlin loved us.. But once in awhile sniveling cowards from the greens party would take the train over from West Germany to protest our presence there. Every time I saw the locals beat the crap out of them when they tried blocking our bus. They knew what it meant to have US protection. Two more years near Munich and a real leader was strong enough to force Gorbachev to tear down the wall. I witnessed the collapse of the USSR under the pressure we exerted. Don't tell me the world is not paying the price for America's fall into liberalism. If you don't see it, you are either blind, stupid, or so far up Socialisms ass that you can't see reality.
10 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: I don't play diplomacy with facists. Au revoir.
10 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Meanwhile, in Australia...
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: I respect you, Germany, for saying that, and I do think it's cool to hear an account from someone who lived there in that time
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: So, you are against government controlling every aspect of their citizens lives too?Awesome! If that was not your meaning, I suggest you research what real fascism is. I can assure you, government control is about to be reduced. Disagreeing with progressive liberalism is not facist, it's common sense based in reality. Not some dream of a world filled with rainbows and unicorns.
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Let's not throw the fascist label around. Even though I disagree almost totally with both what Germany has said and the president-elect, four more years of mudslinging and name calling will result in more fear, anger, and gridlock.
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: You're right. I apologise.
Firstly Germany, thank you for your service. It means a lot.
What you seem not to understand is that welfare and government handouts are necessary, as the economic reality is that jobs are transient. Would you like not to have social security, unemployment, Medicare or disability?
As for division, I quote Mitch McConnell: "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."
Obama came into office trying his best to work across the aisle, but he was greeted with filibusters, the tea party, and racism. As for him using the DOJ as an attack dog, I honestly don't know where you got that from, and I honestly don't want to know. I agree we need strong leaders. That's why having one who isn't a tax evading, womanising, dividing, and polarising demagogue is a good idea.
Global warming is a fact. Every scientist of repute who is not on fossil fuel payroll agrees on that. You have been baby fed lies by FOX and friends. Wake up. Open your eyes. See the rising tide.
FYI I'm not female. And when you say things like that, you being not only islamaphobic, but also a liar. Have you seen crime stats? If no, then sit down and shut the hell up.
Conservatism has destroyed America. Unplug your soul from Fox News and rush limbaugh, see the lights, and then get to work picking up after yourself. If we at least accept basic facts, we can work together for the future.
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: I apologize also for getting riled up. Obviously people like me do not fit in on this liberal of a website. I will complete this and go back where I do not hear pissants ridicule patriotism. Sit back and play your video games as others protect you. Someday you might be able to be thankful you aren't speaking German, Japanese, or Russian right now thanks to people who thought like me... well, unless you live in Germany or Russia... My comment is aimed at those in the US, Europe, and down under.
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: I'm studying German right now, and we should all be thankful we don't have to speak it. It's the most needlessly complicated grammar I've ever learned. Damn you gendered articles!
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: This got very heated...i guess we are playing diplomacy so this is the best "video game" to hear this in lol. And im not sure where england is getting his facts about affordable care because Mr. Trump said he needed to fix it and not get rid of it...
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Well, I was being a smartass and assumed the kid plays console games to pretend to be heroic, thus the video games comment.. Whew.. and to think I did ask for it to stop before I got my buttons pushed.. No more tirades
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Fuggin lol. This conversation.
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Is this the time to tell Germany I'm an anarchocommunist in real life?
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Not trying to be heroic. Just making a point.

Anyway, let's finish up
10 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: :')
17 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Hmm, whatever shall I do with Naples?
17 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: You could always throw the annual Naples Pizza Festival. It actually is a thing. It's pretty rad.
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: That sounds amazing
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Oh and, since I'm about to die, I figured I might add some political thoughts that I suppressed earlier because I was in a tough position:

Dear Germany, Barack Obama was a great president, and it is the mentality of those who blame him for their problems that will continue to divide the world in the future. Now, let's be honest, your ability to use aggressive words does not qualify you as any sort of rational voice, and I urge you to be more considerate of other people's ideas when making an "argument." Also, if you do plan on continuing your aggressive words (oh, and I don't expect you to do anything different), use less outdated terms than "sniveling." Your patronizing attitude is exactly why people hate you. I'm not sure why I'm even bothering responding to your bullying, as you'll forever be convinced that "socialism" and "communism" are political dirty words, the ideologies of which should be condemned. Let's not forget what socialism, as an example, believes in: the good of all people. You can certainly argue that redistribution of wealth is wrong, but you can't start going off about how it's stupid. That, again, is just bullying. Neither of us are going to change the point of view of the other person here, but maybe I could convince you to stop bashing President Obama with a number of graphs. I don't expect you to even entertain the idea of clicking on these links, but maybe the fact that I have evidence will give you an ounce of respect for someone like me, who believes differently than you.

I'll be sad to see President Obama go. Personally, I think he set an amazing example for the US's citizens. He, as a president, was inclusive, forward-thinking and enormously intelligent. I'm sorry he didn't think in the same way as you. Hopefully you don't begin to hate me for thinking in a different way too. Have a good rest of the game, everyone :)
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Feel better? Hehe... Hate me all you want. I am quite secure in who I am. Your opinion will not make me lose any sleep. I hope you have a wonderful life. Everyone has lived different lives, giving them different perspectives. I have had experiences in my 51 yrs that lead me to feel the way I do. I'm sure your many years have given you reason to feel the way you do. Different experiences, different opinions. I will never change yours, you will never change mine. You can thank the nasty veterans for the fact you are free to express yours openly. I did it for you no matter how you feel... And I would still take a bullet you.
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Yay, Ukraine!
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: *bullet for you...
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: ouch
