15 Oct 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi all, I'm at work right now but I'll be sure to contact all that have messaged me :)
16 Oct 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone !
16 Oct 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Yes - good luck to all!
17 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1901: Russian no-show. Hopefully someone will pick him up, as it's still early enough that he can recover and be a player in this one.
20 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Vytox was banned: Duplicate/multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
20 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: Thanks Gamemaster - that type of player should be banned - spoils the game. Guess he was playing the old Italy?
21 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: Which country is vytox?
21 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1902: Was Italy - got booted and now parkerwarker took over Italy
27 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Could you support Serbia to Trieste?
27 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Sure thing
27 Oct 16 UTC Autumn, 1904: Lol - oh well
12 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: To global...
turkey is now on 14. Portugal is certain and mars can be retrieved. He can trade run for Budapest without resistance. That gives him 15 and two builds. Next year, vie and rum and Sevastopol complete his 18 centre solo. We all know how hard solos are. Would anyone give up a certain solo just to be a good ally?

Congrats Turkey on you assured victory that surely now only Russia could stop.
12 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: Russia and I are good to draw and he knows it. Been nothing but honorable with him.
12 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1909: I am OK too
17 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Unlucky France, play again soon.

So now it gets interesting either Russia or Turkey could go for the win or a 17/17 draw. Will they fear a stab from the other party and be happy with a three way draw. If they aren't happy with a three-way, why would they be happy with a two-way. One of them is certain to stab, but whom? My money is on Russia, he could win for sure if he wants it bad enough.

Which units should I disband? PM me with suggestions...
17 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: I'm not going to stab anyone. I was happy with a three way draw up until you were aggressive against me.
17 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: That was my impression too - we were working with you England, and then you attacked Russia for some reason.
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: ...for some reason....like trying to win. Do you guys start a game hoping to draw? Is this how you approach life generally!
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Yep, will do good luck.
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Yeah, guys that plan to stab from the start always get annoyed when they run into players that enjoy finding a cooperative partner in the game. Two different diplomatic styles, my friend.
18 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Different playing styles are great, but the aim of playing games is to win surely?
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: The aim of playing multiple non-anonymous games is to do the best in the long-run, which does not work well if you build a profile that indicates you stab late in games.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: It really isn't slypups, no one will search through past games, and if they did they'd only do it to exploit you. perhaps Russia has seen that you are a puppy and will become a wolf?

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: Let's play predict a move.

Turkey takes Paris, surrounds Budapest and rum, and to arm and crucially say to con. How did he persude Russia not to build in sev? GAME OVER!
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: lol England is trying to play those mind games so he can get a part of the draw. Clever.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: Good try England - not happening. Russia and I are trying to set things up as safely as possible. I can't take any of his stuff in the east, and he can't take any of mine. All he has to do is stick units in Ukraine and Gal for extra support and there can be no surprise stab move.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: I'll bring a fleet into Trieste - that's the least possible threatening unit there.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: lol turkey, none of the spectators believe you and I'm sure Russia will get his retaliation in first.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: really an admirable effort, but I'm confident in my ally.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: Then let's just draw or finalise and see who stabs who.
18 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: Yep, working on finalizing you right now.
19 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: Wonder who I'll be saying 'I told you so' to in a few hours time?
If I were a betting man, I'd say Russia will stab. He hasn't made a big issue of creating a profile as an honest diplomat, he has just quietly got himself into a position to strike. Very well played if that is his game plan.
19 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1912: I'm surprised that turkey hasn't asked russia to put his draw vote in early. perhaps he has and Russia has given some lame excuse. Who knows.
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: When this game is over I'm going to post it to the forum to see how many other serious diplomacy players would give up winning, i.e. The aim of the game just to build a caring, sharing, profile. I'm guessing not many, but I've been wrong before.

Are you both from the 'prizes for everyone' generation?
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: News flash England - this game can be "won" longer term with cooperation in terms of points if you don't mind being part of a lot of two-player draws. I rather enjoy the working-together feeling. If you prefer the stabby thing, Anonymous games are a great place for that.
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Have you noticed bunny isn't very vocal about soft 2 way draw? I'm sure they are very cosy when both players are on same page, but it'll hurt like hell when your certain solo becomes a loss. Just saying.
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1912: Ninny might be after revenge for when you stabbed him in you last game.
20 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1913: What are you talking about Maniac? The only other game I've played with Binny was a live one (30 minute rounds), where somehow the game started up after a pause and I was apparently the only active player, so the game gave me the win because all the other players were forced to resign from non-moves.

Simple end here. I take Bel, he takes Liverpool and we're all good.
20 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1913: yeah but what if Russia now takes belgium and liverpool? Have you left yourself at his mercy Turkey?
20 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1913: @Binny - when was your last victory in a full press game? A solo here will help your ghost ratings no end. Well played in suckering in Turkey.
20 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Are you getting nervous slypups? Did you mean to give binny the chance to solo or did you just make a mistake?
20 Nov 16 UTC Spring, 1913: Ho hum, buzzing gnat.
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1913: And that's how it's done faithless England
20 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1913: its not over yet turkey....
21 Nov 16 UTC Autumn, 1913: Just destroy those units please @Maniac so that Binny and I can draw it.
21 Nov 16 UTC GG guys, I enjoyed that one. Play again soon.
21 Nov 16 UTC GG @Binny - nice alliance. And GG @Maniac too - nice diplomatic effort at the end to get us to turn on each other - I'm sure that would have worked with some players.
21 Nov 16 UTC Thx, yeah it might've worked and was really my only hope. GG
21 Nov 16 UTC GG guys. Good effort trying till the end to drive a wedge between me and turkey.
