15 Oct 16 UTC h4zlf, there's a lot of ways to answer that question. I think at the most basic level you should internalize that someone getting 18 MUST be stopped, even if they've been friendly to you. So really any improvements in your play would be broken into two camps
1) Generally doing better in the beginning/mid game; this is very broad and subject to uncertainty
2) Stopping the solo; which is a little more objective. If you had built A BER and gone BER-PRU and MUN-SIL and not given me NTH but kept a fleet in LON/NTH/DEN I would have just drawn, or at least been pressured to.

You're new so don't beat yourself up or anything.

Also please be sure not to NMR or CD, the site tracks those and players can choose not to play with you based on those statistics. I hope you had a lot of fun!
15 Oct 16 UTC Generally, Germany you hurt England without without gaining anything. You also preoccupied your armies on the line with France, which is only half your fault, but that did not allow you to move eastward. You would have grown more and probably been a player in the fight against France if you had gained in Russia early on instead of helping him take Scandinavia. That fight went far, far too quickly and it gave Russia the upper hand from 1904 onwards.

As far as your endgame, you needed to attack Russia. In 1910/11, he was a very, very clear solo threat. You continued hurting France, who could have helped stop him. Had you moved east on him, you would have forced at least a few of his units back in defense. It would have either given me an opening to push him backwards and force a 5-way draw or, if he chose not to defend against you, it would have given you space to attack him. By acting so friendly toward him, you enabled him to go full-force, build a bunch of fleets in the north that actually outnumbered your own, and leave his central home centers open for much of the game without worrying about them.
15 Oct 16 UTC Also @Germany in S06 you tried support holding Belgium but ordered Belgium to the English Channel. Support holds to a moving unit are voided. Just in case you weren't aware, but I think it was just a mental slip.
