31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Apologies to France for the move to Serbia, but better me there than Russia.

Italy, thank you for not making this go any slower. than necessary.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Russia....man, you should've seen that coming.

Current plan is to destroy Apulia. I do hope that is okay with you, France.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: As one final request to Italy, may I ask that you not finalize your moves. NYE is going to be pretty eventful for me :)
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: (well played, btw, Italy.)
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Turkey, what about taking part in a 3 way?
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: thats a preferable scenario to a solo
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: France lets settle this now in a draw. You got 2 builds, I got 3, we are both at 13...
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Turkey. That is quite easy to accomplish. I take Bud, you take Tri and then we both force France to the draw... :)
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: Went out for the evening, ran out of juice for my phone, no charge cord, etc etc.

Germany, I am still on board for a 3wd. However, I will need some protections since you continue to aggress on our border.

Turkey, glad you went with the default in the absence of further press. That's why I left a clear statement of what I was doing, just in case. Apu works for me (at the Kwik-E-Mart).

Russia, sorry I did not get a chance to respond to your query about what to do. If I did though, I'm not sure I could have been more explicit than my prior suggestion to defend Bud/Rum/Sev as best you could.

Italy, gg.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: France since you did not reply on my proposal to do MAO-WES / DEN-BAL, I guessed correctly that MAO-NAO was about to happen and as Turkey was offering you a solo I had to act accordingly and go for centers and make it possible for Turkey to enter the draw.

Russia, sorry for not keeping my promises.

Italy gg.
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: gg
31 Dec 16 UTC Autumn, 1910: we could still draw...
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: great timing guys... right before the ghost ratings come out...
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: The game is unranked
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Germany, in furtherance of a 3wd I propose that we both refrain from building further fleets.
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: I may waive the fleet build I had in mind, if you promise not to build more fleets and if you promise me to move F SPA back to GOL in the spring. And if you keep your promise I can build an army next year instead of a fleet for this waived build.
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Let's develop that a bit further.

- I build no fleets; you build no fleets and defer one.
- In spring, Spa holds, Nth pulls back to your choice of Nwy/Ska.
- In fall, Spa-GoL.
- On next build phase, no fleet builds.

That leaves us three fleets apiece in the north, and re-establishes Nth as a DMZ. You get to see that I build no fleets before pulling Nth back. I get to see that you pull Nth back before sending Spa away. You get to see I send Spa away before your next non-build of fleets.

How's that?
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: What about NAO?
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: We bounce in NTH with EDI and DEN, while NTH - NWY/SKA.
NAO Holds (do not move to NWG)
02 Jan 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Okay, agreed.
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Could possibly Tyrolia move southwards this move?
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Turkey are you taking TRI this move?
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: I am planning on taking Tried from Venice. Support from Tyrolia and Venice would be appreciated.
03 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Well, and necessary. I'm moving all spare units back to my home SC's so I can prevent a solo attempt by either of you, should one of you not play nice with the other :p
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: I'm willing to use Tyl to support Ven-Tri, if that's okay with Germany. I play so nice that I'll even promise not to tap Adr. :)
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: I do hope that its okay with the both of you. If Germany moves into Budapest safely, this should all be wrapped up.
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Turkey, my default is to support Ven-Tri. Bonne chance.
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Well, I must confess that this game was a failure on my part in many ways. I certainly don't assign blame to anyone for my woes beyond myself. Turkey, I wish I had listened. I guess I still have to work on my stalemate analysis. I certainly don't blame Germany for the stab as I should have seen it coming. I had hoped that by showing my initiative, I could have gained a seat at the draw table instead. I have no regrets in the trying of it. But I relied too heavily on mercy being shown in order for that to work. That and the holidays limited my press availability, which I think hurt my overall chances for that to happen given that I wasn't talkative enough to really engender trust.

In the end, while I failed my team for the cup, I do believe that I'm walking away from the game with lessons learned. I thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for the opportunity to grow stronger, and a most quality game. I look forward to seeing you Princes at the war room map of Europe before too long.

04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Yes it is OK if Tyrolia holds in order to support Ven-Tri.
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: Well played, Russia.

It is my hopes that we can draw after next phase
04 Jan 17 UTC Spring, 1911: To be clear, I am still aiming for an FGT 3wd. I shifted NAO and MAO to the German front to avoid a situation where Germany had three fleets on Nth to my two, with two builds coming -- especially with Bel/Bur still at risk. As soon as Russia is officially out, I will enter my draw vote.

Turkey, should it be necessary, Gre will SH Ser.
04 Jan 17 UTC Turkey take GRE from France. He still seems to be going for a solo looking as his moves and broken promises. He said he do NAO H and SPA H but not.

I did my part of the deal he did not, so now I will build a fleet next spring.
04 Jan 17 UTC That's prudent, Germany. You may want to kick an army North via St Pete's so you can form the Scandinavian stalemate line
04 Jan 17 UTC Yes, SEV is heading towards STP/NWY via MOS. Just don't move that army into ARM so it can continue north after MOS.
04 Jan 17 UTC Turkey, if you take Gre (or even cut it), Ser is vulnerable to Bud/Rum with a Vie-Tri cut. Gal can backfill Bud -- or at worst for G, it stays vacant and purple.

Germany, I have no problem with you building a fleet, since FGT should be drawing the game upon the build phase anyway. I concede I breached; had I not done so and you moved on me, you would have had a solo opportunity. You have two builds coming, and I have no chance at breaking through your line.

So let's ready up and finish this game.
05 Jan 17 UTC France, I'm not all that worried. I have one unit to hold him in arm forever. Which would leave four to cover Bulgaria and greece
05 Jan 17 UTC I've readied
06 Jan 17 UTC Germany.

You will not take a single other center from me. Bulgaria is safe. Trieste is safe. Greece is safe. I have a spare fleet to move into the Black sea and slowly start chipping away at your centers

Draw the game. You cannot win.
06 Jan 17 UTC I am ready to draw. Waiting on France...
06 Jan 17 UTC Russia is eliminated. Why not put your draw vote up
06 Jan 17 UTC Germany. Waiting on you
06 Jan 17 UTC France, should Germany continue to fight, Albania would be more useful than bringing it back to Brest, I think
06 Jan 17 UTC He has one full year to try and solo before I get my fleet to black sea and we force Serbia. I trust you can hold him in the West until then
06 Jan 17 UTC GG everyone!
Yes it would have been too difficult/impossible to get a solo at this time. France would have supported Turkey all the way since he now was behind in the center count. I am quite happy drawing this game being largest. :)
06 Jan 17 UTC Oh. Well I should've known the person I was bashing into a wall against, diplomatically, was THM lol
06 Jan 17 UTC Well played all
06 Jan 17 UTC gg
06 Jan 17 UTC gg
06 Jan 17 UTC Again, thanks to everyone for the game. I hope to get a chance to cross sabers with you sometime soon.
06 Jan 17 UTC GG all
