01 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Hi all, let's get started!
01 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1999: You got it, chief.
01 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Yo.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: GameMaster: jv was banned: Multi/Meta/No Reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Hello everyone! I am the region of New England. We're in Lovecraft Country now, folks.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Hey! We got other things. Like the Sox! And granite.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: I love how the Panama Canal is on the map.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Welcome.
03 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 1999: Hi everyone, sorry about the NMR; won't happen again.
17 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: I think I'll move to MPO and put an army in Hawaii. I'll tell BC and Peru that I'm spreading to cover my flanks, if they ask. Think that will fly?
17 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: Holy crap.
17 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: OK, guess that's out there now. It was thinking "it's easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission" but that just went in the opposite direction, hasn't it? Just text me your concerns if you have any and I'll address them if I have time. I wanted to avoid pissing off two neighbors without letting my fleets stand idle.
18 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: All, I will be leaving town early Sunday morning and returning Thursday late. I'll be on a cruise and expect no network while on the cruise. It is possible that I'll have network at each port, and keep up with games, but I would be more comfortable with a pause. I'll vote pause now. Would you guys accommodate me and do the same? The last person can hold until Saturday to pause.
18 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: Sure no problem
18 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: Thanks.
18 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2002: Sunday is fast approaching. If we want to honor the pause request, I suggest you do this no later than Saturday!
20 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Thanks. I'll be packing my computer tonight late sometime. Approximately 12 from now.
20 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: People might just want to stretch it as long as possible. I'll remove my Pause vote so you can all vote, and I'll re-vote Pause right before I leave.
21 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: kortbonesteak and JOhn.A, please honor th pause request NOW.
21 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Signing off. Pause vote entered.
25 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: And I'm back. Thanks for the accommodation, everyone.
25 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: no prob, bob
26 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Please click UNPAUSE everyone.
27 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Neither Heartland nor Cuba has been online since I returned. Hopefully they'll be back soon.
27 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Please ask the Mods to unpause.
27 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: I wrote to the mods and asked them to look at it. I don't want to be unappreciative for people pausing for me, but also don't want to delay everyone who has voted unpause. I assume they have some standard waiting period that they apply, and I'm happy to have whatever is standard policy executed here.
27 Aug 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Moderator: (Hellenic Riot): Unpaused due to being past pre-agreed unpause date.
27 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2003: Thank you friend moderator.
27 Aug 16 UTC Spring, 2003: Good. Now I can get back to kicking ass. ;-)
02 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2003: I won't ready because I need the extra time for irl things. Sorry, hope it's not too much of a bother.
02 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2003: Back now. Sorry again.
11 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 2005: Dafuq. I wanted to move Coast of Mexico to Galapagos, move Fonseca to Coronado and convoy Lima to Cali. How did I mess up so much.
17 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 2006: The former head of the Great State of Mexico peaks his head briefly above the horizon of his mountain hideaway to celebrate the Floridian unit currently in Saskat -- the little unit that travelled the world, met interesting people and killed them.
17 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: Those are some nice lines.
19 Sep 16 UTC Spring, 2007: That should just about wrap it up. Don't overlook Manitoba.
19 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: I'm gonna go ahead and press draw.
20 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: It was at this point, when the leader of Quebec heard the heavy footsteps of the Floridan army march up the stairs to his office, that he realized his time, his nation, was up.
So, he opened the left drawer of his desk and pulled out the handgun stowed inside, and decided to do the last honorable action he could.

He shot the first floridan soldier who walked through the door, and jumped out the window calling out "never die! never surrender!"
20 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: Sorry Quebec, you put up the good fight.
20 Sep 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: That's an interesting twist.

You guys should write stories.
21 Sep 16 UTC Congratulations everyone on a great game!
21 Sep 16 UTC Good game all, it was fun. We made america great again.
21 Sep 16 UTC Better us than the Don.
