15 Sep 16 UTC :( No fair Valis
15 Sep 16 UTC Haha ain't letting you get away with that one...
No way Austria was holding out at that point.
15 Sep 16 UTC I dont understand why you didnt back yourself though - you had an opening through the middle...
15 Sep 16 UTC Was a fun come back though - from 2 SCs
15 Sep 16 UTC I didn't have the right composition. I couldn't get to MAR before Austria did if you threw. Turkey gaining CON may have changed that outlook, but I'm fine with a draw here.
15 Sep 16 UTC Lest everyone forget, I was in Portgual at one point lol
15 Sep 16 UTC To be honest if Pete had snuffed Gen Lee instead of leaving him open I might've drawn then - I didn't expect to break Venice - was just trying different things while he finished Turkey
15 Sep 16 UTC Of course, might as well rename the Best Austria award to the peterwiggin award :)
15 Sep 16 UTC I need to do three things:
1) Defeat you by Sea. Possible but slow since we can both put 1 on MAO this next turn
2) Defeat you by land. Possible, but slow since yyou retreat to Gascony and then I have to make a guess on PAR/MAR, or not even a guess if you pull back TUS back via GOL
3) Not let Austria solo. TOTALLY possible, but counter to point 2 since it's the same units that have to do both (defend MUN/BER and take PAR/MAR)

Didn't see it happening
15 Sep 16 UTC Especially before Turkey broke out.
15 Sep 16 UTC Oh look, we finally drew. My draw vote went up when it was clear I couldn't hold Munich. Then, I got bored and kept putting off orders until the last minute, which led to some rather sub-optimal orders at the end.
15 Sep 16 UTC Thanks for setting this up Valis.

Make it a great day all.
15 Sep 16 UTC My pleasure! Take it easy.
15 Sep 16 UTC Valis, why the stab at the end of 1904? I couldn't understand it, and it seemed like it minimised your solo potential?
15 Sep 16 UTC I have to go to sleep so I can't really follow it up but the reason was that it seemed like Spain and Marseille in Tunis were easily conquerable with me Austria and Turkey fighting each other and Italy being weak and France being half dead and the only thing standing in my way was the possibility of a well-defended Munich and Berlin and I wanted to go for those as soon as possible there seemed at the time to be little to no reason to need to commit more units South then I already could compared to being able to break the one person who could bring a lot of Firepower against me
15 Sep 16 UTC I think there's an obvious argument that I should have waited to completely hold Iberia but I think it is also an argument that I didn't have a huge window of opportunity
15 Sep 16 UTC Yay, thank you
15 Sep 16 UTC I have to say I was watching that unfolding and just thinking wtf...
