30 Jul 16 UTC Good game Carthage.
30 Jul 16 UTC Easy draw thrown away, Johmo. All you had to do was make sure the Thebes/Alexandria/etc region didn't fall into Carthage's hands, but you totally blew it. Why did you throw the solo to Carthage?
30 Jul 16 UTC I blew it? You started fucking around against me when I did nothing towards you and got rammed in the ass by Carthage. You lost three fucking SCs this round and the game because of your stupidity. I tried to pick up one, which was a long shot, but it was worthless because you did nothing to stop Carthage.
30 Jul 16 UTC I don't think any of you could have stopped me as I had too much of a lead as Rome fell easily due to NMRs - so wasn't a fair game for you. in the end I had too many choices to pick from and you couldn't cover them all.
30 Jul 16 UTC I lost 3 SCs this round because Persia stupidly attacked me instead of attacking the guy going for the solo.
The recent timeline, in case you missed it:
Autumn 4: I need to defend a huge coastline against Carthage. Sinope falls. Maybe not the best, but I see no sign that Persia will deploy his fleets usefully.
Spring 5: I have almost enough units to defend against Carthage. Persia has enough fleets to move around Egypt and prevent the solo, but instead pisses about, leaving Libyan Sea open and leaving the way open for Carthage to take everything in the south.
Autumn 5: I strengthen my defence against Carthage. Persia takes Thebes, totally clueless to the bigger picture that Memphis therefore falls and Carthage is one step closer to solo. Plus, he takes Thebes with a fleet, which can't then attack Bayuda or Memphis.
Spring 6: I push Carthage back on my border. Persia makes useless moves like GOP-Syrian.
Autumn 6: Our only chance of a draw is for me to hold Vind and the oceans. Persia moves Syrian-GOP and attacks me. At that stage, all is lost and all I can do is make sure I'm not eliminated.
