06 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1901: GL to all.
06 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1901: Cheers everyone!
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Germany and Russia are cheating
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Excuse me? Care to explain what you mean by that?
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: If you have strong suspicions of cheating you should e-mail the mods (webdipmod@gmail.com). Accusing people in the game chat or on the forums is not allowed and might even get you punished yourself.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Also check http://webdiplomacy.net/rules.php#Reporting ;-)
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: thanks
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Anyway, I don't see any reason to suspect them. Germany doesn't seem to be Russia's best friend with that fleet in the Baltic and an army in Silesia...
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: No. If we were cheating, I would not have convinced Russia to support Sweden with A Finland and you would have lost Norway last fall.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: maybe I am just outplayed, which would be great, i don't know
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I'll take that as a retraction and forget it happened.
It doesn't seem to me (although I'm relatively inexperienced) like anyone is outplayed by anyone else yet. I'll agree it is difficult to work out who is working together though, it seems to change every turn.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: it's not a retraction, here is a log:
~03:08 AM (To: You, from Germany) - i had some bad information you would stab me. The lack of communication fueled my paranoia. I am ready to support you into Norway now.
~03:08 AM (To: You, from Russia) - Great. I suggest a convoy from Norway to Denmark. I'll support it from Sweden.
03:08 AM (To: Russia, from you) - I am evacuating Norway, please take it.
03:02 AM (To: Russia, from you) - I will immediately cease all hostilities towards you, including giving you supply points, and direct them towards Germany, please let me know how I can help.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Well, in that case you should report it and see what happens.

I'm voting for a cancel.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I believe I reported it.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Excellent. As have I.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I don't see how that conversation would indicate they are cheating ...?

Either way, this is not the place to discuss potential cheating. You should report it to the mods so they can investigate it while you keep playing the best way you can.

If both Germany and Russia ask for a cancel I will agree to it, as this might have hurt the dynamic of this game.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: here's the problem: Germany instantly knows what I sent to Russia.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: How long does it take to get a moderator to confirm there is no cheating? I would vote for a pause until then. A cancellation seems extreme. Although I understand why Russia has grounds to be upset.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: even if germany and russia were the best of friends, I'd still expect 15 min for the information to get from one to the other and back to me.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: It was just a coincidence. I had no idea you wanted to give Norway to Russia until you published it in Global.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Well honestly, i'd be more suspicious if there would have been like 5min in between the two messages. I don't believe someone is going to type a message, switch accounts and type a second message in one minute.

I know diplomacy can make a person paranoid, but you're taking it to a whole new level, England.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I suggest you start wearing a tin foil hat.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I can buy you one if you want England.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I don't see anything wrong going on, let's wait and see what the mods say but I think Britain is just a bit paranoid.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Moderator: (Valis2501): It is very explicit in the rules that any cheating accusations may ONLY be made to the mods via the official email channel.
I have found no evidence of cheating.
Play on and respect the rules, please.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Thank you, sorry, apparently I was wrong, good gamesmanship Germany and Russia, I'll take that tinfoil hat Austria.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Thanks for accepting the decision England.

Unfortunately I do think this has affected what looked like being an intriguing game.
Germany appears to agree as he has also voted the cancel. I'd appreciate it if we could all agree on that. I'd be perfectly happy to play again with all involved, but I've had no time to react to this with new moves this afternoon/evening due to other commitments. I've effectively lost a turn as a result.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: The game is too balanced to call it quits. Mods found no iffy business and I think we should all just rehash our alliances and stay the course.

Hi, everyone, my name is Italy and I am a diploholic.
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm with Italy, we should continue. This is turning into a very interesting game.

Hi, my name is Austria and I am a tin foil hat seller
11 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1903: Well honestly I wouldn't like to play a game where I got accused of cheating and my chat logs get thrown into the global chat because of that, so I'll agree to the cancel. But obviously it's up to the others and I'll just keep on playing.
12 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: Except it's not particularly balanced. We have a strong Germany/Austria/Italy alliance whose position has been strengthened because any possible concerted opposition this turn was made impossible by the 'discussion' on the board.

Thank you Turkey.
12 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: I didn't mean to vote to cancel. I was trying to cancel my pause vote, lol. No, i think we should play on. In every Dip game you get a weird happening. We haven't had any people quit, which is not that much different and happens in a lot of games. I appreciate England's ability to laugh at himself. I appreciate Russia's willingness to forgive an accusation and a minor breach of the rules. Character.
12 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 1903: OK. I've withdrawn my cancel vote.

Not because I don't think the game has been affected, but because it's clear Italy, Germany and Austria won't vote to cancel from a position of strength.
23 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Let me know what you want to do. Maybe sliding up into Prussia would be good. I don't think we can hold Stp unless we move to Sweden somehow. I'm ordering A Ber-Kiel unless you need something else like support to/for Munich.
23 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1907: Support hold Kiel with what is needed. Take Norway and we'll work from there.
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1909: Good game Russia. I was able to out-live you. Haha.
28 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1909: good game Russia
29 Jul 16 UTC Spring, 1909: Thanks.
