1 excused missed turn
Game drawn
12 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1994: FFS,7 games,in 3 of them I am Egypt.
13 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1994: Egypt is a good power! And i imagine you'll be an expert with it soon
13 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1994: Im not saying it is bad,but I don't want to play the same thing over and over.
13 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1994: No Italy. Cancel?
13 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1994: Im fine with cancel.
13 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1994: Italy missed one turn...and he logged in about 5 hours ago. Although if I'd missed my first turn and saw people agreeing to cancel, I might try not to show up to encourage that...
13 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1994: I'm fine either way. Missing the first turn is pretty crucial though..
13 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1994: You're not wrong about that
14 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: i'm going to say cancel again. we have no italy. that really screws me up because it totally changes what france, spain, and germany can do and what they do or do not have to worry about.. (no offense guys)
14 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: i would also just vote draw if people prefer that.
14 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: Voted. I hear you.
14 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: Though I will say its a rare game that doesn't have at least one absentee, or at least a guy missing some turns...
15 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: Voted as well.
15 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: Fair is fair
15 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 1995: I see that France and Poland have not voted draw or cancel. I can't really do anything to Poland, but I will be using all of my units to attack France if anyone else cares to join me.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1995: No, thats...it's a little too much for me to threaten them, to coerce them into a cancel. Votes withdrawn.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1995: No, thats...it's a little too much for me to threaten them, to coerce them into a cancel. Votes withdrawn.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1995: Game has progressed too far for this to be a valid argument.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1995: obviously i can't make anyone do anything they don't want to do. but it's worth noticing that france, germany, and spain all benefit directly from there being no italy in this game.
16 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1995: 'cough'
21 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: Quick question on game mechanics:
Gulf of Lyon was supporting Tyr-Lig, but was cut by the defender.
I was under the impression that 2 on 1 is 2 on 1 no matter what
Is this different across different maps, or have I really missed some opportunities?
21 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: If you actually supported it, then you shouldn't have had it cut. Maybe you thought you set it but didn't?
22 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: If you click on Orders at the bottom of the page it will confirm that you ordered (perhaps by accident) Gulf of Lyon support move from Lyon to Marseilles
22 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: That's a great resource, thank you. I guess I just put in the wrong order then.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: i'd like to point out that unless everyone else on the board starts working together now, germany will win a solo.
24 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: I'll probably end up drawing with a couple of people.
28 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2000: That feeling when you are in 2 games as Egypt at the same time and in both all the board is trying to stop germany from soloing.
28 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2000: I mean I'd love to solo, don't get me wrong, but I figure I'll end up drawing in a 2-3-4 way split. I'm going to do my best till then, but...I don't see myself getting a solo.
05 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: It's 33 to solo, right?
05 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Yes, but consider it 31 for Germany because of Poland's 2 that we cannot adequately attack or defend.
05 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: True.
06 Jul 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: I can get to 33 without those
08 Jul 16 UTC Well, its been a good run, team! I have finals Monday, and so am voting for a draw.
I think I had the solo victory before this year, where I made 3 mistakes:
1. Building in Norway, because I carelessly thought I could convoy from there to urals via barents
2. Mixing up my attack and support orders for paris/alsace/switzerland; I had it guaranteed, I would be able to take lyon, keep paris, and hold marseilles, setting up to press further west.
3. Missing my retreat phase.

So, I will vote for the draw. If Poland were still working with me maybe I'd hold off, but, he stopped talking to me a few turns back and has just been readying hold orders since then. No hard feelings though; we worked together well for years, and I'm glad for that.

I learned a lot this game, so thanks to every other country out there. Special shout outs to Spain, Ukraine, Poland, and France; I enjoyed our chats, and am glad to have played with you.
Sincerely,
New Germany Hampshire
