Game won by tmacswizzle (567 D)
12 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1996: Turkish imperialism has ended
12 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1996: Russian imperialism has just begun. The Russians are enemies of the world.
15 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1997: Ukraine learned that Crimean Annexation is just as painful as it sounds
17 May 16 UTC Spring, 1998: Yet the annexation of Moscow was not nearly as painful as I have been told it was supposed to be.
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: screw you Abigail
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Down boy
18 May 16 UTC Autumn, 1998: Yeah Turkey you should really make securing your borders your number 1 priority...oh wait
18 May 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Securing your own border is entirely unnecessary if you could just swap places with the invader
19 May 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Or you could, in your last dying breath, inflict as much insignificant damage on an outlying German Province as possible in order to assist one of your former aggressors.
19 May 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Would you mind attacking Podolia? Poland is either going for you or me so it's a win win because either way you get my support.
19 May 16 UTC Spring, 1999: Why does this happen...
23 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2000: Our people have returned home.
27 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2002: Adios amigos
28 May 16 UTC Spring, 2003: Draw?
29 May 16 UTC Spring, 2003: That sounds reasonable.
01 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 2004: Draw Britain and you get 248 points
05 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 2005: The time has come to wipe out Poland and all those who would defend it.
05 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 2005: Since a draw could not be agreed upon, I call upon Britain to invade Poland and end this game with an outright victory.
05 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 2005: No way-everyone just needs to team up and take out Britain
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Poland's neutrality is skewing the results of the game. For this offense, we must make an example of them.
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: then just get Poland to attack Britain
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Poland is too isolationist
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Is Poland seriously willing to risk a British victory?
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Obviously
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: ugh
06 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Poland's mad at the people of Ukraine for pursuing imperialist territorial expansion while the people of Ukraine are mad at Poland for pursuing its own defeat. It is the opinion of the people of Ukraine that country suicide is rather unethical and bad for Diplomacy. It is the opinion of the people of Poland that diplomatic and military engagement in the form of delivering ultimatums is unethical. Since Poland was distraught at having received an ultimatum, it chose country suicide.
07 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: well, it's not like it's the first time he's done this
07 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: although, for several reasons, I consider this one to be worse
07 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Draw?
07 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: Definitely not the first time.
07 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2006: This game has been skewed by Poland's intentional demise. We need to draw in order to preserve the integrity of this game.
08 Jun 16 UTC Autumn, 2006: Why would you want to be the guy who won a rigged game? Just draw.
09 Jun 16 UTC Spring, 2007: This is the lamest end of a diplomacy game ever. Instead of having to craft an actual strategy, Poland just rolled over for Britain, robbing everyone of any sense of achievement.
09 Jun 16 UTC I reserve the right to do with my alliances whatever I please. Simply because it does not work towards the benefit of everyone does not mean that it is unethical. Simply because I am not working directly in my own self-interest does not make what I am doing wrong or improper. It is just a different kind of strategy, one with a very long-term outlook.
09 Jun 16 UTC Ukraine is simply upset because instead of the draw that he foresaw by invading Poland, his strategy will result in his defeat.
