05 May 16 UTC Spring, 2007: [Russia]:Since they've changed it so that taking over someone in civil disorder is free, I sometimes search out hopeless cases, and just ready up on holds until I'm eliminated, to up my reliability rating, which fell off a cliff a few years back, when I abruptly stopped playing until this year, abandoning a dozen games.
05 May 16 UTC Spring, 2007: [Quebec]:That's... A way to do it, I guess.

Btw, about 58% of all my games are taken over civil disorders, and the rest is mostly unranked. Although I usually search out cases in which I have a chance, and usually it turns out quite well. I once had a game where I took over Russia who was getting attacked from (almost) all sides in a coalition, and already lost his home SCs. The game ended in a draw, with the leader of the coalition shattered.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:On the ancient map, I was nearly able to convert a civil disorder takeover into a solo victory, but they managed to hold me to a draw. That will be the holy grail of takeovers.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:Congratulations on taking back your home centres, China.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [China]:Thank you Russia :)

As per the terms of our peace treaty you may take Delhi this year. I'll move out of it now.

WC, I'll move out of Korea, so as per the terms of our treaty, it's all yours this year. And any chance you can support me to SCS?
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [China]:And my apologies for bouncing you last phase, I didn't realise you were planning to move there.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:We're pretty close to the draw, and there's nothing I'd do with a new unit, anyway. If you're giving up Korea, I don't want you to end up having to disband a unit, by also giving up Delhi. Feel free to keep it.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [China]:I've got an extra build anyway + 1 from Guangzhou, so I don't mind passing on Delhi. But it's your call.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:Take the build, and clean up the stragglers in the south east.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Ghana, by now you're the only one who didn't do his part of the agreement. Please withdraw from East Atlantic Ocean this turn. Also, your navy movements around Morocco make me a bit nervous.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:China, NP. I'll support you to SCS.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Argentina]:@Brazil:
As I offered them both before, I'm only leaving the Len SC alone for the winner to take hold of.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Argentina]:You can claim Columbia anytime you want btw.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [China]:Thank you kindly Russia :)

And thank you WC :) Korea is all yours.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:Supporting Tan to Moz.
05 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:Understood Quebec, plotting now.
East Atlantic to Nam.
The shifts are due to unbuilt centers. I'd rather have fleets in harbor than armies in the middle of the continent.
06 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Oh, Brazil, since there aren't many relevant thing to do, could you please paint Guyana, Belo Horizonte and maybe Amazon green? They have been bugging me for quite a while.
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Russia]:That's a good idea. I should see about painting the Stans a pretty white.
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Yeah, and I'm preparing Newfoundland for an expedition to Buffin Island and Thule.
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:I am happy to hold in place moving forward.
question: How do we intend to wrap up this game?
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [China]:Good question Ghana....

The way this is heading there will be 9 of us sharing the draw at the end of this game. Are we all happy with that number? Or do we (rather contentiously) want to narrow the field a bit.......
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Argentina]:Who's the 9th Draw?
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:We are waiting for <del>Argentina</del> New Incan Empire, Oz, China and Western Canada to finish eating the rest of India and the Penguins. Would be nice if eveyone also cleans up the borders. After we draw, I'm going to make a map of this world.
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:It will be a nice map.
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Argentina]:I'll snag Bolivia next turn unless Brazil wants to leave it as an Independent drug-zone. :p
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Brazil]:Go for it partner!
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Quebec, your permission to grab the American reservate?
07 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Sure.
07 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Russia]:Near-East, feel free to join in the great map painting project by taking Turkmenistan.
07 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:please kill me off already
07 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:Russia, okay
07 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:Well... I'm out of things to conquer now... XD
08 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:I've jokingly input some convoy orders - nobody be alarmed, although if anyone (and everyone wants to convoy Colombia to Pakistan, be my guest...
08 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Argentina]:I'm guessing your going through the Pacific Islands way?
08 May 16 UTC Spring, 2008: [Brazil]:Yup, I am!
09 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:I'm supporting your convoy with my whole fleet now Brazil. Excluding the Northeast Indian Fleet.
09 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Brazil]:Okay, then it won't get to Pakistan, but there'll be lots of blue lines... Thanks!
10 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Quebec]:#freeTibetfromIndia
10 May 16 UTC Autumn, 2008: [India]:NO
10 May 16 UTC [Near-East]:Russia, we are still good allies, right?
10 May 16 UTC [Quebec]:Oh, hey, we finished everyone we wanted to! We may go ahead and draw now, or spend several turns cleaning up the mess. There isn't much mess left, though.
10 May 16 UTC [Near-East]:Oh... We are drawing? Well alright then...
10 May 16 UTC [Western-Canada]:Wait, what. We're not even getting more than our bid back yet?
10 May 16 UTC [Quebec]:This is unranked.

...maybe I should have mentioned it earlier.
10 May 16 UTC [Western-Canada]:Oh, that's fine then.
10 May 16 UTC [Russia]:A pleasure, everyone.
10 May 16 UTC [Argentina]:Quite the diplomatic game. It was fun.
10 May 16 UTC [Near-East]:Good game. I gotta say, this game was probably the most diplomatic game I have ever played on diplomacy so far. So thanks for that my fellow nations, you made this quite interesting.
10 May 16 UTC [Argentina]:I love how we never got around to wiping out that US holdout Brazil. xD
11 May 16 UTC [Quebec]:Yeah, peacekeeping in Diplomacy is fun!

I'll post the map here at weekend.
