14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: I thought we could eliminate him.
14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: He may have left
14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: Germany left.
14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: No, he's still here. He just had a really bad spring.
14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: I think we can drive England out of Europe this turn.
14 Feb 16 UTC Spring, 1911: We recognize the Turkish claim to Bohemia. Enjoy the beer.
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Can you attempt to get to the Irish Sea?
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Sure.
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: I assume we all recognize that Austria is in soloing position right now :P
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: It's draw time, and Germany's now eliminated. GG, everyone.
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: Oh, we can't take out Russia?
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: If by soloing, you mean likely in a bathroom somewhere with a laptop opened to youporn, then yeah.
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: I was just wondering if he was stalling so that he'd have to be included in the draw.
14 Feb 16 UTC Autumn, 1911: I mean, we could, but we did all agree to draw now.
14 Feb 16 UTC Yeah I'm up for a draw
14 Feb 16 UTC It looks like a southern triple would tend to end badly for Italy.
14 Feb 16 UTC Good game everyone!
14 Feb 16 UTC Have fun tonight, Russia.
14 Feb 16 UTC Oh, yeah, but that's probably to be expected.
14 Feb 16 UTC Yeah I'm up for a draw
14 Feb 16 UTC I would just like to point out that both Cly and Syria are blue. France went a bit of everywhere this game.
14 Feb 16 UTC GG everyone
14 Feb 16 UTC I am pretty surprised at how fun that was
14 Feb 16 UTC I was convinced for a while you were all going to kill me after the Russian stab.
14 Feb 16 UTC Fortunately, Turkey is a turtle.
14 Feb 16 UTC Me, too.
14 Feb 16 UTC I kind of think we should have, but then England had to go and stab Germany and everything was for not.
14 Feb 16 UTC Yes, thank you England.
14 Feb 16 UTC I would have been down for killing you, but I had to watch out about the possibility of a French solo. French fleets in Turkey really only can go one place next.
14 Feb 16 UTC Yeah, once Russia started begging for my help again, I felt pretty good.
14 Feb 16 UTC England really ruined my game lol
14 Feb 16 UTC Honestly, I think Russia stabbed you too early. Germany's got to be crippled, and then you float the idea of a three way draw with France, and then Russia decides whether he wants to take the risk of trying to solo.
14 Feb 16 UTC Sorry, I just saw an opportunity to seize. But I guess it spread me slightly too thin. Good move going up to Liverpool, I somehow missed that completely.
14 Feb 16 UTC If it hadn't been a triple (+one), Russia's timing would have been great. But because we'd already declared a juggernaut, he just stabbed his only ally.
14 Feb 16 UTC Coming into the game, I thought I'd try and wreck Austria, see if I could get Russia to join me in crushing Turkey next, then hopefully the west was still in doubt so I could start sending an attack on France or England while Russia could go after Germany or England. Then hope that a late stab when I'm just starting to move strong into the west would net me Russian SCs in Austria and Turkey and solo like that.
14 Feb 16 UTC Of course, I didn't have a lot of goodwill coming my way either.
14 Feb 16 UTC No, England, I liked the timing on your stab, but you needed to get France to join you, not fight you on it.
14 Feb 16 UTC I wasn't sure who was going down first when I started. The turn you told Austria I was taking him down was the turn I decided (though it was before your message).
14 Feb 16 UTC Turkey, I meant what I said earlier. It's hard as can be to get a juggernaut going when everyone on the board sees it happening. You would have broken into Italy within a year if Russia hadn't stabbed you, and then I would have been eliminated as a draw obstacle instead of Germany.
14 Feb 16 UTC I love playing Italy because it's such a balancing act, but it's pretty easy to get pushed into a subordinate role pretty early.
14 Feb 16 UTC It seems like I play England about half the time, so Turkey has to be my second most-natural country.
14 Feb 16 UTC I like being able to hid in a corner and use my tactical advantages.
14 Feb 16 UTC I am pretty rubbish at the middle three countries tactically.
14 Feb 16 UTC I am playing a Gunboat right now and about to solo as Austria :D
14 Feb 16 UTC Surely not a live one?
14 Feb 16 UTC Of the three, only Germany can even think about playing a waiting game, as I see it.
14 Feb 16 UTC Surely a live one.
14 Feb 16 UTC Italy can wait to actually strike, but they need to know how the alliances are working.
14 Feb 16 UTC I would never try to play multiple live games at once.
14 Feb 16 UTC Austria's a blast to play, but that second fleet build (third fleet overall) has to tell everyone to drop their shit and start dealing with the red monster ASAP.
