Spring, 1994: Good luck everyone. :)
Autumn, 1994: I've had pretty bad luck in the last regular map games with awol players. That we have 9/10 active players is pretty sweet.
Spring, 1995: Everyone say hi to our new Russian player. Coming in a turn late is sort of a disadvantage so let's be nice.
Autumn, 1995: I always think everything could be a trap, which is why I'm still alive. http://princessbridequotes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/humperdinck2.jpg |

Autumn, 1995: Thank you for the warm welcome. Good luck to all.
Autumn, 1995: Neat! I've learned what mute does. Guess not everyone likes all the aspects of Diplomacy. Perhaps some of you will pass on messages to me from this angered country.
Autumn, 1995: Do you know if someone mutes you? Are you already a Rogue nation? |
|
Spring, 1996: Messages bounce back, so yes, you know when someone muted you.
Autumn, 1996: Quick heads up to the board: Egypt is a stabber - any deals you have with him are worthless.
Autumn, 1996: Quick heads up, Italy is a bad team member and does not consider his allies needs. Though maybe France has experienced more help from Italy than I ever did...
Autumn, 1996: By "allies needs", Egypt refers to the seven messages he sent asking taht I just give him Tunisia. He also ignores my offer to get him into Morocco - why else would I move a single fleet into S.o.G.? He sent five messages crowing about how "honorable" he was and how he valued alliances. Given that he also stabbed Turkey, I think we all can plainly see his lack of character. What he lacks in tactical skill he makes up for in his ability to weave elaborate lies. I'm cool with getting stabbed - it's part of the game - but so too is paying the price for being a stabber, which Egypt will now pay.
Autumn, 1996: Italy, I'm organizing a game of Hello Kitty: Island Adventures if you would like to play something where we all get to hold hands and have singalongs and no one wins or loses.
Autumn, 1996: lol Can I play too?
Autumn, 1999: Well played folks. Hoping this doesn't end in a 4-way....it could be very interesting.
Autumn, 1999: Compliments to those who keep putting in moves instead of holding up the game by leaving.
Autumn, 1999: Will just put this out their now. 4 way draw Ukraine, France, Egypt, England
Spring, 2000: I set the wait time for a game to start in One Ring too short for so many players. If you signed up and still want to go again I set up a new game: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=169100
Good game and thanks for not being a punk France
New England here. I'm all for a draw right now. I put my vote up.
