27 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1997: i could tell
27 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1997: Does anyone want to sing a song?
27 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1997: Allons enfants de la patrie...
28 Jul 15 UTC Autumn, 1997: Vas-y, mes freres!
30 Jul 15 UTC Spring, 1998: Think that is the first time I was first out in well....as long as I can remember. Ouch.
31 Jul 15 UTC Autumn, 1998: There's a first time for everything.
01 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 1999: That moment when you realize you share a border with everyone on the map, most of them wanting to kill you :D
03 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 1999: One cannot spell "slaughter" without "laughter".
04 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: Let's start thinking about a draw.
04 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: My vote is up :)
05 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: sounds good to me
05 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: If anyone has any plans to eliminate somebody else, pm me and I'm in.
05 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: But for now, I'm locking myself up and support-holding, mostly.
05 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: I will also keep my draw vote up, if only out of self-preservation.
05 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2000: You probably won't be eliminated.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: The only two nations refusing to draw are Turkey and Russia. Clearly, Russia is intent on soloing, or at least thinning the draw and thereby eliminating some nations, like Germany, England, or even myself. The only way to force the draw is to ensure Russia has no chance at furthering his position. So, I propose a coalition against Russia and its allies.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: I second that motion. I'll lead the charge.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: (Morale-wise, I mean)
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: People of Europe, do not listen to these spurious charges from your imperialist oppressors! We come not to conquer you, but to free you from your capitalist masters!
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Not sure what ideology the Turks are liberating you in the name of.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Radical Islam.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Well, given that Religion is the opiate of the masses, that is concerning.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Well, given that Religion is the opiate of the masses, that is concerning.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Lol it's 2001, you're not atheist anymore.
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Or communist. ;)
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Actually, there was a coup and the communists are back in charge now.

Why else would I be reuniting the USSR?
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: Ha because I thought you were Putin!
07 Aug 15 UTC Autumn, 2001: You know, by Putin's logic, Asia should belong to Mongolia, and Europe belongs to Italy. I think we should utilize his logic in this match :)
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Putin stole that logic off mussolini.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Right. So gimme back my terre irredente.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I like my irridente al dente
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Neither Turkey nor Germany submitted orders last turn. We need to draw before the game deteriorates any further.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: By "deteriorates any further" do you mean before the workers are liberated by the glorious heroism of the people's army?
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I agree. NMRs really kill games.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I was going to defeat the UK and Germany anyway...
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: That is likely, but we don't know how long it would have taken and what the rest of the world would have looked like. Turkey may have also decided to stab you.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: The match cannot be considered fair after this point, because nearly all Russia's neighbors are not submitting orders.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: But I'm not fighting Turkey! They are my ally!

Also Germany + the UK have 9 units fighting me, and I have 12 fighting them. I would win even if Germany did move.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: It is true that Germany will fall a lot faster if they don't bother moving
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Turkey is your ally for now, but the bigger you get the more likely it becomes that he would stab you.

You probably would eventually overwhelm them, but it would take much much longer than it will take now that you are gobbling up free centers. Also, if Turkey decided to stab you then you'd have to pull back some units. Even if you only pulled back three, that would put you at an equal nine-on-nine with Germany and the UK.

I know this sucks for you, since you had a nice lead before the CDs. Still, I don't think anyone can deny that the game has been ruined.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I don't think Turkey was going to stab me.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Mostly because I was planning to stab him first :)
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: But fine, I'll agree to a draw.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Shall we finish off Germany first?
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I'll leave that up to you and his other neighbors
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I would say no. Germany is ailing, but eliminating him entirely would take too long. Draw after this year?
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: Scratch that; I typically like to draw in the autumn, after builds, but since we aren't eliminating anyone, there's no point. We should draw immediately.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I wish we could eliminate them before drawing. I don't like to reward NMRs by letting the culprits partake in the draw.
08 Aug 15 UTC Spring, 2002: I as well, but that's going to put Russia past the point of drawing, and into solo-threat territory.
09 Aug 15 UTC Baller. Good game everyone! And I apologize to literally every single one of my allies! (Because I stabbed you all)
