Spring, 2012: [Kenya]:I'll support a draw as well if we all agree to it!
Spring, 2012: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Ahah!.......I don't agree!
Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Will put the vote through after frozen is relieved of his land
Autumn, 2012: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I can't believe NE Russia and Kenya are going to give up to those three loosers without a fight.......sounds like something France would have done.......GO VICHY!
Spring, 2013: [Argentina]:You didn't exactly put up much of a fight yourself.
Spring, 2013: [Argentina]:Gentlemen we would save ourselves time if we declare a general ceasefire while we eliminate fa
Spring, 2013: [Frozen-Antarctica]:World peace!......just call me +Jesus+
Spring, 2013: [Near-East]:Argentina wants us to declare a ceasefire while he alone increases in size and gets a vastly improved position. Why would we suddenly become that stupid now? |
|
Spring, 2013: [Argentina]:The draw I propose leaves us all in the same position.
Spring, 2013: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Don't capitulate against these three stooges........If I have ever seen a game where there is still a chance, its this one!
Spring, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:NOOooooooooo......................................
Autumn, 2015: [Kenya]:Sorry folks on that last turn! I swore I had time today to do it but it looks like I was mistaken!
Spring, 2016: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Thank you for letting me keep a Penguin sanctuary : )
Autumn, 2018: [Kenya]:I'll go ahead and put in a draw and it will be up to Near East if it goes that way. No harm in putting it up either way.
Autumn, 2018: [Argentina]:Let's see how long near east wants to nibble at our borders. If you stop helping him attack us and hold your positions a draw is inevitable.
Autumn, 2018: [Near-East]:And yet if they help me, a 3-way draw is much better than a 6-way draw, so why would they settle for your version?
Spring, 2019: [Argentina]:A three way draw requires you to eliminate all three of us...surely you mean they 'survive'
Spring, 2019: [Near-East]:It's true that 3-way would be hard to arrange. 4-way would be easy.
Spring, 2019: [Argentina]:I will defend my allies to the last territory. We can plan our Christmas card lists together.
Autumn, 2022: [Near-East]:Your retreat options don't change by taking another 9 hours over it, WC.
Autumn, 2022: [Near-East]:Love it. Tag-team stalling. WC makes the retreat turn take the full 24 hours (when you have no choice but disband!), then USA makes the build turn take the full 24 hours. |
|
Autumn, 2022: [USA]:Dude, stop complaining. I've got a family event and don't want to end up missing ANOTHER turn this weekend because I get busy and forget.
Autumn, 2022: [USA]:And yes, I technically have time now but I am avoiding putting orders in on mobile as much as possible because last time they decided not to save and I didn't notice!
Autumn, 2022: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Since I still own a piece of Antarctica I still get a voice this game......I only have a few words to speak.......Near East=Integrity................
Autumn, 2022: [Kenya]:Summer is a busy time for most people, missing turns or not getting in orders until the last happens. Let's not start picking on each other over RL time constraints.
Autumn, 2022: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Always the compassionate negotiator Kenya...Hehehehehe
Spring, 2023: [Argentina]:There are also vast timezone differences in our alliance to be taken into account. This delays communication.
Spring, 2023: [Near-East]:Sure, but 2 forced disbands don't require any communication. I seldom comment on time taken over actual turns. A retreat turn where there are no choices to be made at all and the resulting build turn in which the build options are therefore known as soon as the retreat turn started do not need to take 2 days, or even 1 day.
Spring, 2023: [Argentina]:Righto
Autumn, 2025: [Russia]:Sorry everyone about the civil disorder. I have way too much course work to focus on. Trying to balance this and college isnt working. Do whatever you want for the end of the game because I cant do this right now
Autumn, 2025: [Western-Canada]:I'm in college too :D. Electrical engineering. Also quite busy (so no live games with me anytime soon) but I've just been submitting the same orders again and again lol.
Autumn, 2025: [Near-East]:Very sorry to see you go, Russia. You were a good ally.
Autumn, 2025: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Heheheh....Hahahahah!!!
Autumn, 2025: [Russia]:No way Western!! Im Mechanical Engineering! Its a blast but it just takes up too much time. I was only planning to play during the summer, but this game just outlasted me :p
Autumn, 2025: [South-Africa]:Who is playing India in the other game?
Spring, 2027: [Western-Canada]:Is there a new Russia??
Spring, 2028: [Near-East]:Nobody has taken on Russia. Also, as I understand it, this turn has not processed correctly. Hopefully, they will re-run it with the correct Russian unit removed.
Autumn, 2027: GameMaster: This game has been moved back to Autumn, 2027
Spring, 2028: Moderator: (A_Tin_Can): It looked like the destroy indexes (which tell the adjudicator what units to destroy) hadn't been regenerated since a bug was fixed a while back. I regenerated them, but unfortunately it looks like they're still incorrect for russia for some reason. I'll look into it. I don't think we'll be able to fix it in time for the next turn, unfortunately. |
|
Spring, 2028: [Near-East]:You can't just edit the database to have the correct unit in the correct place?
Spring, 2028: [USA]:It's not going to affect the outcome, frankly. Kenya has basically been refusing to work with us at all and so we've given up on trying to help him; you'll roll over him a bit more while we hold our ground, since we can't advance and then you win anyway. At most, you take a year or two longer.
Spring, 2028: [Near-East]:I'm trying to minimise damage to my ally and get this over with. If someone took over Russia while that army is in Beijing, they could drag this game out for quite some time. (I attempted to make it go away the previous year, but you guys killed a Russian fleet I didn't expect.)
Spring, 2028: [Kenya]:I think maybe you should have had someone that wasn't Argentina doing the PR work on that campaign and it might have gone better.
Spring, 2028: [Argentina]:Kenya didn't like the idea of being told what to do. So he didn't, twice. Then was bluntly told that there would be consequences if this continued...then blamed the people helping him out. No surprise you're being left to your own devices. |
|
Spring, 2028: [Argentina]:Western Canada/USA/Argentina have survived because we cooperated closely even if this meant less individual planning.
Spring, 2028: [Kenya]:It is less that I didn't like being told to do, than told explicitly what to do (some of which actively endangered me if someone wished to play dirty), and when I thought this might be a bad idea, was threatened instead. At this point, I am admittedly playing a little spitefully and giving NE some SCs.
[Frozen-Antarctica]:All the Penguin's are crying.........your soap opera game is very entertaining............Oh and if you need some ice cubes I have a sudden excess of 10 million.
[Kenya]:Come on, we all know the penguins are entertained. The poor things have nothing but wind blasted miles of snow to look at otherwise.
[Near-East]:Thanks everyone for a great game, especially pizzaisgood and Amser. I guess I should also thank scagga for refusing to join us for a 4-way draw and giving me no reasonable option than to go for the win. |
|
[Kenya]:It was fun! If a bit of a wild ride in parts! |
