04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey NMR and my late arrival -- cancel/draw?
04 Jun 15 UTC Autumn, 1905: Allahu akbar! Praise be to Austria!
04 Jun 15 UTC Maybe I coulda gotten a solo. IDK. I was too scared and this was getting stressful. Very gg by all.
04 Jun 15 UTC Well played all.
04 Jun 15 UTC Pleasure all. Eng, with R and my cooperation, you would have needed to get parts of Italy to solo. And you werent getting that far south. I wasnt going to attack you.

Russia, thanks very much for the strong alliance.
04 Jun 15 UTC Yes you could have done, but you had must wait a few moves, now it was too early, my opinion, but thx and friendly greetings from Vienna
04 Jun 15 UTC I thought Vienna was mine? :)

Pleasure playing with you Gerry.
04 Jun 15 UTC FWIW, my EOG:

I entered the game with 4 seconds left in the first turn. I hastely entered orders. My overall world view is that A and I must work together or die separately, and I repeatedly try to sell that to no avail.

Had Turkey not left, I was sure to die. But Turkey had to go. At that point, I had good diplomacy with Russia and England, so just bided time. Given the weak start, I was an unlikely solo candidate, so workd on being a trustworthy ally and making sure no one power got too strong.

England and Russia both had excellent press skills. England, I think you are somewhat newer at this game. There were a few times you lied in press (reducing trust) when you did not have to. Also, you got nervous even though as things stand, you could hold all of your positions. E is in a very strong position against a southern alliance involving Austria, because that alliance is generally fleet deprived. Recognizing the overall strength of your tactical position (we could never hope to gain MAO) may have helped you play it out longer and get in a position to solo.
