21 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1999: Free baguettes for all friends of the French Canada!
21 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1999: Good luck, everyone. Happy stabbing.
01 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Happy 2005 everyone! (err.... 2015?)

The noble empire of the Quebecois is beginning to falter. Our allies, the British Columbians, appear to have entered a state of internal rebellion, as their armies are on strike. Our brothers, the Texans, are a proud people that continue to fight strong. Unfortunately, the dastardly Floridians have been overtaken by a ruthless dictator bent on world domination. He has violated our treaties and killed our children in cold blood.

While we may not be long for this world, we wish everyone (besides Heartland and Florida) a beautiful run of it. Should any of you have any requests for my final years (French education in your schools?), please do not hesitate to let me know. I will do anything to ensure the ultimate winners are not Florida and Heartland.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Bit bitter
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Hey I am back
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: BC, welcome back, comrade.
Florida, bitter will be the taste of your wheat when we have spread the blight.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Oh yes... New York State's fields are covered with blight that your soldiers shall bring home to their fields. The dust bowl shall be a memory for much of the 21st century in your realm.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: sounds like quebec teamed up with everyone and some of us didn't want to be stabbed in the back with a baguette
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: I got it from both Quebec and Florida so watch out.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: I'm not going to discuss my current alliances publicly in chat, as it looks like I'm on the way out and don't want to harm my allies. Florida I can't blame for wanting to attack me because I was being a bit aggressive keeping a fleet in EC. Heartland, however, shouldn't be trusted -- he attacked me out of the blue when I had been a loyal ally to him.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: actually I was tipped off by two countries that you were turning on me and I better act now. they could have been lying to me, but when two countries say you've deceived them then I have to do something. my apologies if I acted on misinformation
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: you didnt
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: I never said anything to anyone about turning on you, except to ask for BC's help when you started coming towards me. So either you're lying or you were duped.
02 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2005: Also, you could've inquired. Bottom line: I'll be gone soon anyway, but noone else should trust Heartland!
04 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2006: Farewell, everyone! Enjoy the rest of the game.
05 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: I will :)
06 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: looks like i'm next. This is the last will and testament of Heartland...To Florida, I leave all of my Canadian holdings. To BC, I leave my respect. My American holdings are to be given to charity. And finally, to texas, I leave the only thing I have left, my disdain.
06 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2008: Unsubscribe
07 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2008: I'm rooting for you from the grave, BC and Texas!
11 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2012: Are we drawing now?
