10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: we may pause :D
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: and them at morning we unpause
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: We may, or we will? Can anyone pause or majority call?
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: I think majority
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: I want to
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: can we agree right now how we plan on handling bedtime?
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: your time is the same as the site?
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: yes
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: we should pause this war. We're the only ones here!
10 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1901: lets wait more there is much time left
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: So, I don't know whose idea the 2-hour game was, but for times longer than 1 hour, the game starts when full, not at the scheduled time.

I say we play on until everyone else CDs, then draw with the three of us (or maybe more, if folks log on) who are here.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: im here
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yep. You, me, and France. So far.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: shall we wait until the next move or we just draw it now?
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: We have to wait until it shows them as having left...
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: Also, folks could log in and start playing. The loss of one phase isn't a big deal.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: Gents, what's the point of war where only 3 of us are fighting? what fun is clubbing baby seals??
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: None. Which is why we should draw after the folks who aren't here CD.

I don't see a point in pausing until the "morning" or anything like that, since there's no particular reason to think more of us will be on then.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: ah man i knew school was a bad idea
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: ah man i knew school was a bad idea
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: hahahahaha
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: ah man i knew school was a bad idea
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: apparently a really bad idea...
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: and now my messages are repeating sorry 'bout that
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: and now my messages are repeating sorry 'bout that
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1901: no problem
11 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1902: so the players who left...fair game?
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: "Fair" in what sense?
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: open for the taking
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Welcome Austria!
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: It is now morning for me, whatever that is worth.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: man i need some sleep its midnight for me
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: And welcome England! Almost a full house now!
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: I now see the problem with a 2 hour turn game that doesn't start at a set time :(
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: yeah
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: very troublesome
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: TBH, a two hour game seems like a bloody horrible I idea. I only joined because I have to pull an all-nighter for work anyways...
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: ive never played so i went with a quick one
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: hahahaha i thought i would only starta when the dead line to join ends this way we all would just be playing this game at monday if im not mistaken
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: it would only*
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: ha
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Lol. This isn't exactly quick. Five minutes is quick. This is an impossible in-between nightmare. See, the average game lasts 8 or 9 years. With 4-5 phases per year, that's 32-45 phases total. Multiply that by two hours per phase, and you get 64-90 hours, or 2.7 to 3.8 DAYS of making a move every two hours.

We're all fucking insane.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: ahha lets draw
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: really! With half the world available you come after me?
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Germany and I are allied, clearly, so really you were the natural choice.
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: austria and england r back not that much space left in this scenario
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: Whatever else happens, we will get out of this sooner if folks ready up!
11 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 1902: in addition to this fact russia now owns half of the world
11 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1903: Turkey went to bed, and voted to pause.
11 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 1903: That's fine; he'll be out after the next phase.
