15 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: All: My primary resource for playing on this site has been comprised (read: I dropped my damned phone in water and is now dead). I can either go CD (not my favorite option), turn my account over to a sitter, or ask everyone for a pause of unknown duration. I'm looking to you guys for input to see what everyone prefers.
15 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: I'll pause if you need it. But if you want to get a sitter that is fine as well.

If you contact that mod team they'll be more than happy to help out I'm sure.
15 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: I agree with New York's sentiment.
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Umm... Dude. Bowling green is my city... :0

And I'd rather not pause. But a CD is no fun either.
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: I have a sitter.
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Huzzah!
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Heartland is from PA in RL, but their username person is from CA.
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: what IS CD (beside a Compact Disc)?
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Civil Disorder, when a player stops submitting moves. All of their units hold. If dislodged they are destroyed. If they must destroy units during adjustment, they destroy units in order of farthest from home SC first.
16 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: Ahh, okay. Gracias, Mexico.
17 Nov 14 UTC Autumn, 1999: British Columbia, if you are ready do you mind hitting ready? Cheers
17 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2004: OK, so I'm back. Would someone mind explaining to me just what in the blue blazing hell is going on?
17 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2004: I don't know what you're referring to. Or that you were even gone....
17 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2004: Maybe the original Mexico came back? He did say a while back that he had a sitter.
17 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2004: More concerning to me is that California hasn't been seen in nearly a week...
24 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: Should we do something about Mexico disappearing? No one seemed to care when California vanished after being invaded, and the same thing is happening with Mexico, but I figured I'd ask.
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: I think we should draw. We all already stand to gain a fair amount, and the map is pretty uneven with both CD's in the east.
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: If California and mexico are eliminated I may agree
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: With Cali and Mexico having left, they are excluded from the draw.
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: Exactly. As of right now it's a 5-way draw
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: I personally would not feel bad about continuing, but that's just me. California leaving didn't really benefit me in any way, and I was already at war with Mexico when he left. It wasn't like he disappeared and only then did I swoop in to take advantage of that.
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: But he is gone, and you'd still be taking advantage. I don'tid either way. I just thought it made sense to call it
25 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: Don't mind*
26 Dec 14 UTC Spring, 2005: I'm curious as to BC's opinion. I'd like to decide one way or the other as a group.
27 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: And now BC didn't move... but the game says he has been around? Did he just intentionally not move?
28 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: Yeah I'm here, sorry for the NMR; Christmas got the better of me! I'm agreeable to a draw.
29 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: What do you think, Quebec? Is Mexico's CD draw-worthy? Or should we play on?
29 Dec 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: Pondering. The game is still rather dynamic.
01 Jan 15 UTC Spring, 2006: If the game does continue, I'll only be drawing for reasons unrelated to the CD.
13 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: I'm going on holiday from Saturday to the following Saturday and have just found out there's no WiFi where I'm staying. Could we pause please?
13 Jan 15 UTC Autumn, 2007: Okay, sure. I'll put up a pause vote during the next phase, which is Thursday for me.
16 Jan 15 UTC Pause vote up.
16 Jan 15 UTC Thanks. Quebec & Texas? Please :-)
16 Jan 15 UTC I got it up, sorry, didn't see the message before.
16 Jan 15 UTC Thanks! Go ahead and put your unpause votes in; I'll do mine as soon as I'm back so we can re-start as quickly as possible.
17 Jan 15 UTC I'm at the airport emigrating to Australia. Would appreciate a pause for a further couple of days please!
17 Jan 15 UTC He's lying. There is no Australia on this map. ;)
18 Jan 15 UTC GameMaster: ALEXTREME333 was banned: multi/meta/no reply.
18 Jan 15 UTC ...Well. That's awkward.
19 Jan 15 UTC Yea... perhaps just a 4 way draw now?
19 Jan 15 UTC We could also try to find a replacement Florida on the forum.
20 Jan 15 UTC A 4 way draw isn't a bad idea. Florida is doomed any way
20 Jan 15 UTC I wouldn't say that. With good tactics and/or good diplomacy, Florida definitely has a salvageable position.

What do the others think?
20 Jan 15 UTC Well, so far we have 2 for the 4 way draw, and yourself as the opposed, but I suppose as long as it's not unanimous, it's not happening, now is it?

Also: BC already punched in a draw vote.
20 Jan 15 UTC Well, I mostly want to know if we want to try to find a replacement Florida. BC put up his vote to draw before Florida was kicked from the game. Perhaps he would rather get a new Florida and see how the game develops. That's where I stand.

That being said, I won't try to recruit a new Florida against unanimous opposition. Being the only person not trying to immediately draw a game rarely ends well.
21 Jan 15 UTC So what are we going to do about this game?
21 Jan 15 UTC Cuba, could you confirm the draw vote? Looks like everyone is wanting just to draw at this point.
22 Jan 15 UTC Yeah. As I said, I won't oppose a draw against unanimous opposition.

I really enjoyed this game. I had a great time as Cuba, and was looking forward to going further, but Florida was my closest ally since Day 1. It wouldn't be the same without him.
22 Jan 15 UTC Good game gentlemen.
24 Jan 15 UTC I get back to find we've drawn, shame about the circumstances but gg all nonetheless.
