29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1908: Tried to, but lost that order, Italy. Please sent it sooner next time. :)
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1908: @ Russia - Thanks, but it isn't looking good for me. ;-)
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1908: Ok, I try to think quicker, but it used thx
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1908: @Turkey I sort of realised that when I started packing my bags... :)

29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1908: Thank you Austria
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1908: Damn, Tyr was supposed to move to Viena, not Venice. At least I defended it.
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1908: NP, I guess :p
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1908: and Italy goes for world domination like was always going to happen...

29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Sorry , but as I said I'm slow in thinking ;)
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Did Germany miss last turn?
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: Seems so, either bad web or banned ?!?
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: :-S
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1909: same here
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1910: lame that Germany went AWOL
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1910: If Germany stays missing, I'll be curious to see what Austria-Italy do next.
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1910: The mighty Turkish navy will be vacationing in a location that is, presently, undisclosed. ;-)
29 Sep 14 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'll reveal it: The Black Sea. ;P

29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Damn, I was wrong!
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1911: Interestingly, Russia survived longer than I did. Then again, so did England! ;-)
29 Sep 14 UTC Spring, 1911: @Turkey I am running out of oil to keep that ship moving...
29 Sep 14 UTC hey let's vote a draw!!! :)
29 Sep 14 UTC @ Russia - I just noticed, below the map you can click on a "speaker" for each country's name and I think it hides/unhides their messages. This way, color-blind aside, you can see who said what.
29 Sep 14 UTC Unless I am mistaken, Italy is very near a solo victory.
29 Sep 14 UTC @Turkey thanks, but it gets messy with all the clicking, especially in a quick game.. :)
29 Sep 14 UTC GG Italy. :)
29 Sep 14 UTC Thank you for your friendship and trust, great alli thank you, greetings from Vienna
29 Sep 14 UTC and I thought we should vote a draw... :)
29 Sep 14 UTC well done everyone, thanks for a fun game
29 Sep 14 UTC but now that I see how many points Gerry has, I am pleased I just lived :)
29 Sep 14 UTC surprisingly Austria and Italy seem to be by far most experienced players...
29 Sep 14 UTC This was my first game on webDiplomacy.net, but I do have a lot of experience playing elsewhere. Anyone have any pointers on the interface? I found it difficult to use.
29 Sep 14 UTC Shit happens but not always :-)
29 Sep 14 UTC I haven't played Diplomacy probably since 1991 when I played a little bit of it on a computer though not online :)
Thus I would consider myself pretty much a newbie.
I don't mind the interface though, @Turkey what do you find difficult?
29 Sep 14 UTC Also, can anyone point me towards an explanation of the scoring system? I find it strange that a solo (Italy) is worth 20pts, but a 2nd place (Austria) still gets 15 pts!!
29 Sep 14 UTC The order is entry is awkward (but understandable). Perhaps worse is the map with all the lines. It's just messy and not all that helpful. Alos, it was too difficult to determine which armies were shose. With the short deadline, there were times where I could not enter my orders fast enough (as in the failure to take Greece). I have used some other online apps that have a very nice visual interface (you actually click the unit on the map, etc.... Even if you will never use it, it's worth looking at the DroidDippy website (there's also a phone app). That interface for order entry is very slick.
29 Sep 14 UTC Because we play SC per points, you are also able to play winner takes it all. Is an other possibility to play.
29 Sep 14 UTC Congrads to Italy for the solo.
29 Sep 14 UTC Thank you.
