11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: I guess I won't ally with Ukraine, then. I will be glad to pause, though, to keep things fair.
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: yea i know how that works but I'm far from Ukraine so those no need to ally with him anytime soon
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: f Ukraine... steamroll his a$$
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: f Ukraine... steamroll his a$$
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Powering up my steamroller. :)
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Will you join me, Poland?
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Lame. I have neighbors thst showed up.
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: i love a good roll in the hay
11 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1994: Lame. I have neighbors thst showed up.
12 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1994: Hi guys. I will be leaving for a trip tomorrow and won't return for one week, and won't have access to Internet at the location. I would appreciate it if you all were to pause until I get back, so that we won't have a situation like we do with Ukraine (although I am sure France and England would love that). Thank you!
12 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1994: Seems reasonable.
12 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1994: WAIT NO KILL KILL KILL (jk)
13 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1995: can we pause without ukraine?
13 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1995: we should also vote extend as a back up
13 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1995: don't you think its a little silly to join a game you know would run through a vacation?
13 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1995: agreed, England.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: Yeah no fuck you two. I'm not playing a three on one game while spain is gone. Pause if you have any sense of fairness
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: do you think its fair to join a game when you're going on vacation? and going straight to the fuck you comment? wow
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: It is strange to join a game with a vacation impending, but I could see internet access as turning out not to exist at the last minute. Either way, playing in an unbalanced game is no fun.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: So can't handle language, thats not my problem. But playing an unbalanced game isn't fair, isn't fun, and I either of you where to win this game it a little suspisous that two of you won't pause. Maybe your the same person i dont know. But what I do know is that this is completely unfair and not pausing is a completely unsportsman like way to play this game. Just pause. He will be gone for like a week if that.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: Throwing down the 2-account gauntlet. That's the gravest of webDip sins.

...That escalated quickly.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: But, really, Germany and England, y'all should pause. It's only sporting to do so, even if France has been a bit of a prat in terms of trying to convince you to accept the pause request. There are better ways of communicating, my teal friend.

...and Spain, you should absolutely never do this again if you can avoid it. It's unfair to sign up for a match knowing in advance that this would be an issue. I for one rarely get to play Modern maps and enjoy them when I do; this sort of thing is usually the problem, and you shouldn't perpetuate that trend or the site community will weaken. While I hope we can pause to preserve the spirit of the game, you'll have no sympathy from me if at the end of the day we're unable to convince the others to pause. You should have sat this one out. Enjoy your vacation.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: ... I say, after he's clearly already left. Oops.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: look at that a bit of diplomacy!
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: I'm a prat and I'll except it.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: for the record, I don't know who england is and I refuse to pause or excuse Spain's inconsiderate conduct. Additionally, if Spain has a smart-phone, he can still access the game. Otherwise, he must truly be going somewhere remote and SURELY should not have joined the game.
15 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: I'll take Britain's pause as a qualified success in my diplomatic efforts. Alas and alack, ya can't please everyone...
16 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: If people want to grab land fast. I will purposely lose the game and just support people into Germany's territory. Message me if interested.
16 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: Sounds interesting. Please elaborate.
16 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: *... backs away slowly*
17 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1996: France, England, Germany, Poland - it is imperative that you all recognize the abundant danger impending from the East: Russia, Egypt, and Turkey have all formed a Juggernaut and are marching West. I will try to hold them, but I can not hold long in the face of what appears to be a highly coordinated onslaught.
17 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1996: If Poland could extract his shoe from my ass, I'd be happy to help. :)
18 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1996: The winter is cold and your ass is so warm.
19 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1996: Hope your vacation is going well Spain. Thought there was no wifi? And we were all going to wait on you....
20 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1996: what's funny is Spain's playin now and france gave up. HAHA
20 Jul 14 UTC Autumn, 1996: I joined the game after the last person had spain left.
22 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1997: hello
22 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1997: sorry. i was at vacation so well. i guess i lost haha. but good luck to all and have a fun game
23 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1997: fuuuuuuuuuudge.
23 Jul 14 UTC Spring, 1997: Just to let you know, I joined the game because it was in the 'join game' list. The other Spain player got auto removed because he missed his turn twice. I joined and started playing.
10 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2003: Spain, why do want to pause? You have to give us a reason.
10 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2003: Sorry, must have accidently pressed it
10 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2003: spain's pause was actually a remnant from the first guy who played spain.
18 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: And that, gentlemen, is how it's done (or soon will be). Good game, England and Spain.
18 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: u too. Spain f'd me. If not for him we mighta had a chance to stalemate...
18 Aug 14 UTC Autumn, 2005: its been fun
19 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2006: Congrats gents
19 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2006: ill hold position unless you need me
19 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2006: Thanks all. Thanks Poland. Will chat at Draw time.
19 Aug 14 UTC Spring, 2006: Thanks all for a great game :)
