19 Apr 14 UTC WTF Kevin that was you.
19 Apr 14 UTC y would u help russia? u should of just stuck to france
19 Apr 14 UTC I'm sorry Germany, I wanted to be friends ;-;
19 Apr 14 UTC yah small world right?
19 Apr 14 UTC yah small world right?
19 Apr 14 UTC Gracious draw 2WL
19 Apr 14 UTC I wanted to be friends Chaqa! We could have killed Russia together.
19 Apr 14 UTC I'm really rusty. I've played only a few games lately.
19 Apr 14 UTC I tried to help you.
19 Apr 14 UTC Let me show you what else you don't do in a gunboat - indicate in the postgame chat that you knew someone else in the game, especially when there is a mod who isn't happy with the result also in the game.
19 Apr 14 UTC Also, Chaqa, I had every intention of working with you. You attacked me first, remember? But you're welcome for the draw ;)
19 Apr 14 UTC ... what can i say :P
19 Apr 14 UTC I don't think it's clear they knew each other. They fought and stuff.
19 Apr 14 UTC lololololololololol ^
19 Apr 14 UTC Chaqa - the 1901 gift of Swe gave Rus 7 right away - a bit alarming.
19 Apr 14 UTC yah i was waiting for u and russia to move on me but as soon as u stabbed, it helped me out alot
19 Apr 14 UTC Well, when you took Budapest and Vienna, I got worried. Turkey and you were full Jugg, and I needed to stop you. But then idiot England stabbed me, fucing it all up
19 Apr 14 UTC gameID=140119
19 Apr 14 UTC Russia I may be a little bit biased, but I think we had a better chance at a smaller draw, possibly even a solo for you if you had waited a little longer to stab.
19 Apr 14 UTC I'm not gonna play, it's late for me. But thanks for the game, even if it was quite the clusterfuck.
19 Apr 14 UTC @England: I don't consider Sweden in 1901 a gift to Russia. The last thing Germany needs is an angry Russia. I almost always give Russia Sweden.
19 Apr 14 UTC Honestly you folks should have gotten rid of me and Germany, I don't deserve the draw.
19 Apr 14 UTC 2WL - who knew anyone in the game? It was anonymous? Were they in the same room or on a server together?
19 Apr 14 UTC It depends on the situation. I think Germany did the right thing by offering me Sweden when he showed his intention to attack France. Its not his fault I got big quickly.
19 Apr 14 UTC I think bouncing Sweden is good, if you know there are people moving against him. It gets a threat out of the way faster IMO
19 Apr 14 UTC ccga - I agree. However, when I did stab you, I based that decision on the fact that I only had a few units in the south with which to defend your inevitable stab. Italy was no threat to me and was in a good position to work with me against you. It was a risk, and if I didn't misorder in the last turn and properly support Bulgaria, I wouldn't have drawn.
19 Apr 14 UTC What really made me go after him was when he took Vienna, and was in the Juggernaut. England was ready to knock him out of the north, and my attack on France was going well, so I figured it was a good time to swing east. The build in Warsaw also had me worried of a sneak into Berlin.
19 Apr 14 UTC Actually the last thing Germany needs is a dead Austria - you did well considering that dooms you eventually. Czech obviously not around for this chat, but I'm sure he'd have something to say to Italy.
19 Apr 14 UTC Yeah. No Austria was bad for me. I needed him to bottle up the east. Also, I kept waiting for France and England to fight... never happened.
19 Apr 14 UTC peace - France and Italy know each other IRL, but I think this was a genuine coincidence and I'm not going to follow up on it. Neither of them worked together or helped each other in any way. Plus, its late and I'm tired and I don't feel like starting an investigation that will only end with a metagaming warning.
19 Apr 14 UTC I was waiting for you to fight Russia, Germany :P
19 Apr 14 UTC as for me, i was expecting to be KIA by russia in spring 1903 but then the stab happened :D
19 Apr 14 UTC ccga4 - why didn't you get into the Med when I showed there? Italy left you the Ionian?!?
19 Apr 14 UTC @England, $hort (Italy) and I know each other IRL, but we didn't coordinate in this game at all, just a coincidence. Being in the same timezone and having the same school schedule is probably to blame, if anything.
19 Apr 14 UTC I was fighting Russia... all game, pretty much.
19 Apr 14 UTC France - it would have been foolish for Germany to move to Burgundy *and* bounce me in Sweden. Germany can't afford enemies on both sides.
19 Apr 14 UTC Er, well, I was waiting for you to lose against Russia. And then I could make some progress along that border. Sadly, it came too late
19 Apr 14 UTC I was fighting Russia and not you from 1904 on. You sneaked into Munich and then Berlin, fucked me up, let Russia go uncontested.
19 Apr 14 UTC 2WL - Oh - OK.
19 Apr 14 UTC yah well good game though and thanks for the great game (though i played like a noob).
19 Apr 14 UTC My first draft of orders was Munich->Ruhr, not to Burgundy. Would have been better, I think, because England in Belgium never ends well for anyone.
19 Apr 14 UTC I think if I build a fleet in 02, I could have had a better game, and got some leverage on England.
19 Apr 14 UTC Good point Chaqa. France, you need to learn when to stop fighting and recognize when its mutually beneficial to work together. You two could have held England back for me ;)
19 Apr 14 UTC Anyways, again, thanks for the game folks.
19 Apr 14 UTC At least there were no CDs.
19 Apr 14 UTC Yeah. I was very surprised to see an army in Brest. With fleet in Tunis, and two builds for England, you're always building fleet in Brest. Need to, or else you get bottled up by E/G/I/
19 Apr 14 UTC Chaqa - I was bit surprised you stopped me rather than Fra - I was all fleets - no threat to Ber or Mun. I held off Kiel at the end, but it must have been too late.
19 Apr 14 UTC Yes - Fra foregoing the fleet really let me run wild.
19 Apr 14 UTC I liked how fast everyone hit ready :)
19 Apr 14 UTC Yeah. I got stuck on all sides fighting. I'm surprised I lasted.
