15 Mar 14 UTC And france, we were lucky michael made mistakes. You almost cost us the game.
15 Mar 14 UTC THanks for the game. Sorry for dragging it out, it's kinda fast paced and I needed time to think my moves over.
15 Mar 14 UTC I like that it is fast paced. I make a plan and constantly adjust it. So i know the moves in advance anyway.
15 Mar 14 UTC I screwed up with Warsaw and a convoy to Picardy. Felt like a solo was within reach but those 2 errors cost me.
15 Mar 14 UTC No, the solo was never a real possibility. Only if france had stubbornly kept ignoring the threat you posed. You had too many fleets midgame, hampering the amount of pressure you could put on france fast. That gave him the time to react, even though he was in the worst possible position due to his ignoring you.
15 Mar 14 UTC But you could have made more of a dent into france. And Warsaw... again with the armies, too few to late. As soon as i managed a 4 on 2 there the position was lost.
15 Mar 14 UTC Also, with a little more willingness to take risks you could have put one or two of your surplus fleets into the mediterranean. That was the one thing i was really afraid of. France could have blocked it easily but his fleet just did not move. with two fleets in there you really might have won.
