01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck and good game to all
01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: yes, good luck and hopefully an interesting game.
01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I just noticed that two of you joined at 7:24 and 7:26, and two of you joined at 3:36 and 3:37. Independent events like this are not impossible but very unlikely. Give me 15 minutes and I tell you the probability. Does any of you feel the urge to declare that they gave a friend a hint to join this game as well?
01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I would just post on the forum, and ask one of the mods to investigate. Multiaccounting is why I tend to avoid anonymous games - can't blacklist anyone!
01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Well I don't have a friend in this game, leaving only 4 people to fill 4 slots.....
01 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I was the one that joined at 3:36. I am not a multi, nor have I discussed this game with anyone outside of the messages I have sent in this game. The Mods are free to look into my account if they so wish.
02 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck to all. I'm no multi but I note that I have received personal messages from only two countries: Russia and England. Perhaps the multi is playing Russia and England, if there is a multi.
02 Oct 09 UTC Spring, 1901: I don't remember when I joined and I don't know any of you. If some of your are so worried about multis why don't we draw and restart the game open (not anonymous).
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: England has left the game leading it !?! I propose to pause the game until we get a replacement... with 9 SC it should be quick.
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I agree. But Turkey also left. So why don't we wait also for a new Turkey.
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: And: Will we ever know who England or Turkey were?
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: alright, I'm in. What about Russia?
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: Just a missed turn is all
27 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hi all.
28 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: well that was nice and fast, we can take our votes for pause of now
28 Oct 09 UTC Autumn, 1905: I'd say so. I think finding someone to take over turkey will be a hard sell.
02 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: Italy, where are you? Stand up and fight Austria if you are real.
02 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1906: hmm, taking off to Bordeaux for the weekend really didn't do much for my position. Crap.
07 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1907: To all players, I have got the message below from Italy... France is suspecting that Italy and Austria is the same player... I confirm that Italy and I are different players without any relationship outside of this game. I don't know who is Italy player... I hope this clarifies the matter and remain available for further clarifications as required.
****
sorry, but looks like your envolved in this too...
from France:
"...But I am suspecting you to be multi with Austria anyway. Otherwise your last three moves can just not be explained.
But when the game is over, names are revealed and we can see. I bet you have a long common history with Austria."
****
07 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: So what? I am still suspicious, and we will still see.
08 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1907: Yes we will all see... no problem!
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: What the hell was that? I mean honestly.... what the hell?
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Austria, since you remain open for further clarification, in an anon game, it would either seem that you and Russia are the same player, or that you are metagaming, and that you and Russia are aware of whom eachother is outside the confines of this game. Unless Russia suddenly became that stupid independently.
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: England, just scroll to the beginning of the global. There was something fishy in this game from the very beginning. And of course, Italy and Austria. And Russia---so trustful. And now this.
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: For what it is worth... again... I am playing the game on my own, in an honestly way, in a total fair play spirit of the game. I am not involved in metagaming and I don't know any of the players. If you want my opinion on Russia behaviour... here it is... I have respected a Russia-Austria agreement since the beginning of the game...England attacked Russia without hope for a fight... therefore, I can understand that Russia is going for Austria instead of England... I often do the same myself... in a no hope situation, I will give up to my long term allies first... pretty simple and diplomatic...I trust that once you will have evidence of my statement (although I am not sure how this can be done but hope there is a way to do so), you will give me merite of my diplomacy skills...
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: If it turns out that you can indeed sell snow to the Inuit, then my hat is off to you.
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: I supported the Austrians into my territories because I would much rather have my friends in control of my lands than my enemies.
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: France, come off it already with the Multi thing. You give me a hard time about not fighting for my home DC? You're such a hypocrate. Should I start to question your relationship with England?
11 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: Yes, it seems interesting that England took Brest but apart from that did nothing, and you did nothing to stop him?
12 Nov 09 UTC Autumn, 1908: I feel that i may have been wrong. While I think Russia made a really, really stupid decision, especially for an anon game, I apologize for suggesting otherwise.
12 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1909: Ok, I made a really really stupid decision by ensuring my lands don't go to you? Ok that makes sense
16 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1910: What I find that makes no sense is that Germany helps England, even though England is the one that destroyed Germany.
16 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1910: The old England before I took over a long long time ago did. I reached out to Germany as soon as I took over.
17 Nov 09 UTC Spring, 1910: Moreover Germany can only survive this way.
This distraction method of questioning any coalition is quite silly. England and me had some coordination problems when the new player took over, but this was resolved (as you can see). But what Italy and Russia did is just self-destruction to the benefit of another nation (Austria).
29 Nov 09 UTC Nothing much left to do... I propose a draw... nice game!
29 Nov 09 UTC I agree to that, this isn't really going anywhere
01 Dec 09 UTC Well played everyone. Annoying game, yet fascinating. I had fun.
