| Spring, 1905: The new Russia player is desperately trying to convince me to change my position. Rather than respond directly to him, I'm going to put my response here for everyone to see. As I've already made clear, I succeeded because two players abandoned the game. I'm not going to reap the benefits of that. Once Russia is eliminated, I will set myself to draw. And I'm not going to let a late-comer suck away some easy points (whether or not that's his intention) by trying to make a deal with me on the basis that he's not the original Russia player. Now, hopefully this is the end of it. | |
