I was perfectly happy to allow you to share in a three way Draw. You deserved the points. When you began to delay your orders, however, and responded that you were doing so just to bore the s**t out of me, I had no remorse in cutting you out. I could have won this game but Egypt has been a class act throughout the entire game and he deserved and will receive a Draw. Being humble isn't always bad! Better luck in your next game. Granted, its just one game, but I cite our agreement in splitting up France as example 1, and Poland's stab, and your inability to hold off invading scandinavia when he did. | |

Certainly alliances are sometimes broken, but, as I have stated, I typically stay with my alliances long term. Ask Egypt and Italy, if he were still here. This triple was formed from the beginning and would have dominated. Yes, I broke alliances with both you and France that I had no intention of keeping, just as you have likely done in other games. It's simply part of the strategy involved. Perhaps, then, it's a matter of communication as to whom you trust or not.
