30 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: GameMaster: UrsaMajor was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
30 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: Spain is freakin' cursed!
30 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1995: Why would anyone multi? Never quite understood that one. If you want to win by cheating, set up the board and play yourself!! Can there be any satisfaction to winning if you cheat? It's not like there is a cash prize or anything.
15 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1997: Draw anyone?
15 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1997: I don't mind.
15 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1997: With 8 of 10 still remaining? Man, that's far too much game left to play to draw.
15 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1997: Yeah, I completely agree. There's way too many SCs left to make that call.
25 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 1998: It was nice knowing you.
18 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2001: I think I am doomed, unless anyone feels kind enough to let me into the draw :(
18 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2001: Poland stabbing me was the turning point for me... and then he went and dropped out! Shame he didn't drop out earlier :)
19 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2001: So do I.
Poland stabbed me as well and drop out.
If not, I could hold off France.
19 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2001: I won't lie, Italy, between England and Turkey and I, I'm not sure you'd have held out even without Poland's interference.
19 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2001: I could hold off you, but yes, I could not hold three of you at once.
22 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: Why not end now lads, and let me on the draw? I have fought hard all game, and the points difference in GR is tiny between a 3 or 4 way. Please?
22 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: I'm okay with that, what do you guys say?
22 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: I'll accept a 3 way draw, but not a 4 way draw. It's not about the GR points, they really don't matter. It's rather that I don't really think it's entirely fair to include Russia and not the other nations that also fought pretty well (Poland to name one). And there's also the little thing that I kind of promised Ukraine that I was going to avenge him.

That said, even if I managed to take all of Russia's SCs for myself, it still won't even be close enough for me to go solo. This position is pretty much a draw, but only as a 3 way draw.
26 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Hi all, I'm on a long haul flight Sunday eve (UK time) then on holidays for 8 days, so maybe Saturday evening US time could we pause? Presuming the game is still running then.
thanks.
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Sounds fair. Have a fun trip :)
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Off to the Maldives, should be amazing!
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Oooh, I'm jealous! Make sure you enter a pause order before you go, just in case. Otherwise you miss a phase, like I TOTALLY DIDN'T DO >.>
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Well, Turkey is about taking me out from the game, so I will just content to see how this game will be finished.
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: Well I am kind of hoping for a 4 way draw... might wrap it off before I fly off!! If I have free wi-fi and you all press UNPAUSE after it has paused, then might not delay by much.
27 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2002: In fact France, if you ready up; then we could zip through next year and draw? I know, I know, you could just knock me out then draw, but I am hoping on the good wishes of Turkey and Britain.
27 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: Voting for a pause, in the interest of playing a fair game I urge the rest of you to do the same.
27 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: Yes if we pause, i suggest you all then vote unpause. i will not hold up the game more than needed, and if i have wifi access we can keep going. thank you all, sorry for inconvenience.
28 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: No problem -- life comes first, I think we all get that :)
28 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: I agree with France.
28 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: Thanks all. I don't go until Sunday evening, so hopefully we can get another turn or two away before then.
29 Mar 14 UTC We could call the draw? It would be very fortunate for Italy, but I admire the fact he has played on despite being 1 sc. I would be ok with that.
29 Mar 14 UTC Yeah, I don't have that much time to play Dip recently. Sorry for not making my moves the past couple turns. I'm behind agreeing to a draw.
29 Mar 14 UTC I'm okay to draw as well. It's looking to be this or a four-way-draw anyways.
29 Mar 14 UTC thanks all ... italy, bet you are relieved :)
30 Mar 14 UTC Hahaha.
Thank you all for playing.
And thank you Russia for bringing me to the Draw.
