13 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1901: good to see all have orders in so we don't start badly hope to hear from all of you
14 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1901:
18 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1903: I have officially had one of those moments where you go total bonehead. I waffled between attacking England and stabbing France and managed to do both really badly, without intending to. I had lied to England and got a conscience attack, which is a bad thing for a Diplomacy player, and came clean and told him he was on his own. And then did not change all my stab the French moves, so I have this one army in Burgundy and look like a total fool. This might result in the revocation of my Diplomacy license. All of you not being effected by my lunacy can sit and laugh. Those who are the victims of this can only gnash their teeth and vow to attacke me every time they see me in any other game. Thank you.
22 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: Dammit, I submitted orders. What happened?
22 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1904: It said you didn't
26 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: GameMaster: RawBeeG was banned: multi/meta. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
26 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: Gads. I understand what banned means. What is the multi/meta thing? Is he playing more than one account?
26 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: multi means having more than one account.
Meta means his moves and actions were being done for reasons outside of the game. He might have been banned for doing a multi/meta in a different game. Check the help section and look at the rules if you want more info on it.
26 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: Shall we Draw then?
26 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: With 6 of us?
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: The banning of France certainly taints this game. How do we end this? Italy, England and I could take out the French units and vote a 6 way draw, which is hardly satisfactory. I am not at all sure what is fair. We could vote to cancel this mess. Or play on as is. I suppose that is sufficiently wishywashy. I will say this. I will not vote a draw until France is gone.
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: One other question: how do we proceed if another person takes over the French position? Sigh. cancel might be the mose equitable result, even though I am doing well.
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: France is already out. If we vote for a draw, this will be 6-way as long as no one else join the game.
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: Plus, if Austria manage to take Russia out this year it will be 4-way draw. Turkey is already out in 1906. I suggest a draw in 1907.
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: Fair enough. I will work with Austria to eliminate Russia. The 2 of us can easily do that. Then we vote a draw sans France.
27 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1905: It's all up to me then?
28 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1906: I can live with a 4 way draw
28 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1906: Do we have to eleiminate France to keep him from participating in the draw? I am moving that way but it will take me a couple of game years to get his homeland dots.
28 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 1906: No, we do not have to eliminate France. It has already left the game.
30 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: so are we calling I a draw?
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: I am willing. The France CD has seriously unbalanced the game. The unbalance favors IA, but I would feel the same if it favored me. Spring '07 we can officially vote a draw.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: The realty of Diplomacy, whether on line or via snail mail, is losing players. This was an unusual situation with the player being banned. It clearly unbalanced the game. I believe taking the draw is reasonable for all 4 of us. We might have deserved a chance to play this out, but there is no fair or reasonable way to do that. I can say it was a pleasure to play with all of you. Would happily do so again.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Well this is awkward. There was a mistake with me being banned. Should we vote for a cancel? I sincerely apologize for this game. A draw also works so we can get Turkey's points. If you wish to take me out of the game first, thats fine.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: I will understand if you want to simply take me out of the game first.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Once again, sorry about all of this.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Once again, sorry about all of this.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: what happened with the ban?
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: It was for a multiaccount they suspected but my brother was actually using my computer to play (on his account) so it was extremely suspicious to them.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: lol
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: So erm, are we going to draw or am I just goign to be taken out?
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: im fine with either a draw or a cancel, its only 70 points in the pot. I don't know about you guys.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: I mean cancel seems pointless since there are two people defeated anyways.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: But its up to you guys.
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: well, this is different how do we want to handle this?
31 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 1906: Soon as we hit spring, I will vote the draw. Looks like everyone except myself and England have already done so.
31 Jan 14 UTC Sorry guys. We can all start another game?
