17 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2014: I second that motion, that's what Turkey and I agreed to put in the public chat.
17 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2014: Or simply kill russia! :D :D :D :D
17 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2014: So, there IS a traitor. Well, that's at least good news. Stay tuned, there will be some developments soon, I think.
18 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2014: For the meantime, please postpone your builds.
18 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2015: I second that motion, that's what Turkey and I agreed to put in the public chat.
18 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2015: Sorry I posted that again, didn't mean to.
18 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: I say kill Russia
19 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2016: Well, that was uncalled for.
19 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2016: Russia built, its on!
20 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2016: It is indeed on!
20 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2016: Sorry, Turkey! I'm pretty sure you're the traitor. Although this will probably upset the rebels :)
20 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: well, alright then. go on. i won't defend.
20 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: I'm gonna laugh my ass off when it turns out to be Russia.
20 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: okay, now i have time for a lenghtier message, the last one was due to time restraints and out of anger. here's another angry one, but at least it's lenghty.
now not so dear King, what on earth exactly make you believe that russia isn't the traitor? what did he say to you or what did or didn't i say to you that makes me the traitor? is it that all the other knights continuously expressed their confidence with me? is it that i always followed your orders, as opposed to russia regarding germany? (even if he was a knight after all. is that why he didn't want to attack him? to gain your trust by saying "i know it's not him?" how would he know if he isn't - oh wait) or is it because ccga4 repeatedly yells "kill russia!" and he's a rebel, so the opposite must obviously be true? i don't get your actions at all. but then, that's what you've done the whole game, killing knights.

as i said. i won't defend myself - what for? you'll get your paycheck soon enough anyway.

good game russia. kudos. i don't know how you managed to convince the king i am the traitor, but you certainly did a good job. well-earned victory.

dear king, i hate you with all my heart.

goodbye to everyone. it was a nice game.
21 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: Is it too late to kill Russia? :(

Why did nobody listen to me?
21 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: If it is not Turkey, Russia took a very slick gamble. I will explain after the game.
21 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2016: I hate this game.
22 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2017: yea this sucked the big one
24 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2018: So we all agree this sucked and should just cancel.
24 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2018: good idea. My votes up :3
24 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2018: Why would we cancel?
24 Mar 14 UTC Spring, 2018: Because this is stupid
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: Because a solo by the king is a victory in spirit for the knights but still a defeat on their records.
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: You do realize you have 33 SCs already. Taking just one gives you the solo. I think the only way you could possibly win is to take all of turkey this turn and pray he is the traitor.
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: 32 SCs already (33 wins in this game).
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: OR, I could kill Turkey and draw with Russia (if Turkey is the traitor). That will also win us the game.
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: the only problem is that it won't, but i am tired of arguing or writing.
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: russia will solo right here
25 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: I don't think he can from this turn?
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: Russia is the traitor and he is 2 SCs from the victory.
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: We'll know soon enough.
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: Wow, I can't believe this is how its going to end. ATTACK RUSSIA!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS THE TRAITOR
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: I like how you're all totally convinced on no evidence. Mob mentality at its best. I wonder if you'd be the other way round if we'd chosen Russia instead (obviously ccga wouldn't - he's been saying it was Russia all along).
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: actually, pretty much everybody suspected russia before you decided. but nevermind.
26 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2018: If those who did were right, this might be fairly embarrassing.
26 Mar 14 UTC Italy, I have very good evidence for my decision!

As I've said before, I could tell Russia somehow already knew my identity when talking to him in the opening stages of the game. What else could that show, than that he is the traitor???
26 Mar 14 UTC Ah. Yes. Remember at the beginning of the game when you said "I am a rebel, but don't tell anyone?". I might have told some people. Sorry.
26 Mar 14 UTC No Italy, that was before I told anyone.
26 Mar 14 UTC Including you
26 Mar 14 UTC Hmm. That's interesting. The traitor and Turkey are the only players to use lower case "i" in communication, and also the only players to use the phrase "dear king".

We'll know soon enough.
27 Mar 14 UTC Moment of truth...
27 Mar 14 UTC Out with it
27 Mar 14 UTC And... I wasn't the traitor
27 Mar 14 UTC Can you confirm this turkey?
27 Mar 14 UTC At least I got down to the final two with my prediction lol
27 Mar 14 UTC I posted on the forum so that those players who are no longer following the game see the result.
27 Mar 14 UTC Well sorry Russia, well played by you and Turkey for sure.
27 Mar 14 UTC Italy, what was the big move Russia made that made you attack Italy?
27 Mar 14 UTC That made me attack Turkey? It was the message from the traitor, which had quite a bit in common with the Turkish press. To reach this conclusion, I re-read every bit of Turkish and Russian press, looking for similarities with the traitor's press.

The similarities were subtle enough that I thought it would be a very long gamble if it had come from Russia. Also, the messages I made the conclusions on were mostly private, so Russia hadn't seen them.

Analysing the press wasn't my plan when I asked for communication with the traitor - I was actually hoping to convince them to build and reveal - I thought the incentive of having the element of surprise in the build phase would be enough to get them to reveal, but it turned out not to be.

I've got to commend Turkey, though. He played an excellent traitor - he had me totally convinced he was a knight. So well, in fact, that at one point I considered eliminating him because his play was "too much like a knight". But that seemed like a silly reason to eliminate someone.

I turned on Egypt incorrectly, because they were flip flopping a bit on the roles of other players, and I thought they might be the traitor trying to sow confusion. Looking back, I'd like to say that their moves indicated they were clearly not the traitor, but the same is true of Turkey (who, of course, was the traitor). I can say that I was convinced that they were a knight when we eliminated them. Sorry.

Germany had to go because they regularly made threats and often lied about their moves. This didn't seem like knight behaviour to me, though of course I'm sure Draug will disagree :)

Spain went because it was convenient, and it also seemed appropriate to try-by-murder the player who was advocating trial-by-murder the loudest.

Good game everyone, and sorry again to the knights who got eliminated along the way.

Anyone got any funny stories from private press in this game?
27 Mar 14 UTC let's move this whole conversation to the forum. to those wondering: i was indeed the traitor.
