25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Russia]:Hello all, good luck, and Merry Christmas!
25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:Merry Christmas to all
25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:Merry Christmas.
25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [India]:I really dislike how the Arab states are called the Near-East. Seems unjustifiably Eurocentric today.
25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [China]:Merry Christmas everybody!
25 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:Merry Christmas to all.
26 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Brazil]:Happy Holidays from warm Rio.
28 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Western-Canada]:C'mon Europe let's ready up!!
28 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Europe]:Sure :) But I'm not the only one.
28 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Pacific-Russia]:Libya needs to be ready.
28 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Russia]:Even if everyone presses ready, the game will go the full length for this phase I think, because its the first year.
28 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2001: [Near-East]:No. The game will always process.
28 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2001: [Russia]:Thats weird then, cos everyone was ready with 2hrs to go and it didnt process...
31 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2001: GameMaster: jake33 was banned: multi/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
01 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2001: [Kenya]:Et tu Libya? Why would you stab now?
05 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2002: [USA]:I think everybody should take notice of my fantastic bouncing abilities.
13 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [China]:Pardon my feet dragging, doing some traveling so better for me to have longer rounds at the moment.
13 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Europe]:Totally understandable, feel free to save rather then ready if you need to.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [China]:Dude, seriously?

"Spring, 2015: [Western-Canada]:Shut up faget"

Really not appropriate.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Europe]:China, with all due respect, try not to share stuff like that in the global thread. Either discuss it with WC in private, or take up the issue with a mod. However, posting that kind of stuff in the global thread isn't entirely appropriate.

Regardless, I can understand why you reposted it into the global thread.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Brazil]:I disagree about the appropriateness -- sharing messages is as old as the game. Then come the complaints that it was forged/false, etc. All is fair in diplomacy. Misleading "captured press" can be fun. In this case, sharing a perspective on the character of a player is fair game....is that the type of person you want to trust?
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [China]:There's absolutely no strategic angle here. Call me a shit head all you want but even I stumbled a bit when I saw bigot slurs thrown at me. Let's just try to keep it a bit classier.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [China]:And I'm happy to leave it at that.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Europe]:Ok, fair enough.
22 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Western-Canada]:*sniff sniff*
22 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [China]:I certainly can't top that.
22 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2015: [Western-Canada]:Brazil, I am the type of person that you can fucking trust. Which is why I'm giving you all my shit cuz I missed too many turns =D
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [China]:And then there were four!! Feels fairly deadlocked to me, you guys ready to call it a day?
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Europe]:Yep. Once builds are complete, we draw.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [China]:Ah right...the builds, good call. Just wanted to say it's been great playing with everybody!

Shout out to the others in the final four:
Ghana - you're a most definitely a powerhouse and enjoyed our banter
Europe - one of the most loyal and honourable guys i've played
Brazil - definitely a force to be reckoned with, glad to have you on my side!

Now let's crack a beer and wait out this clock.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Ghana]:Never give up, never surrender! We will have victory, my African brethren!

Just kidding. It was a good game, and I very much enjoyed it. Europe, you were a fantastic ally and I'm glad I had the honor of fighting with you. China, you were one of my most favorite enemies. Until we meet again, when we may be friends or foes. Brazil, I almost had you, but you repulsed me. You were a worthy player.

Also, shout out to South Africa, a most erstwhile ally. It certainly was interesting at the very least.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Ghana]:Oh, and next round's on me.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Europe]:Hahahaha, sounds good :)

I will echo China's sentiments, it has been a pleasure playing with all of you:
Ghana - You've been the rock of this alliance, a great player, always honest, and you've pulled my ass out of the fire countless times, thank you :)
China - You've well and truly dominated this board, been great to chat to, and are an excellent diplomacy player.
Brazil - We might not have had much contact, but you well and truly tore up the Americas, so massive respect for that.

I hope to play with all you of once again in the future :)
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [China]:Haha, that South Africa almost screwed me with his random jumping on me/throwing centres to Ghana at the end of his run. I still have no idea what that was about.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Brazil]:I echo the warm wishes all around. I had an early advantage with a largely absent Argentina that was nearly lost when I kept trying to ally with WC....a most erratic fellow! I have enjoyed our talks, Ghana and our late game arm wrestling. I daresay neitrer of us would have fared well if we went tooth and nail early. Respect to Europe...never thought you would make the final 4 until your late rally. Well done. And China...well, you were the one of us that might have had the solo.....a well played game.
12 Mar 14 UTC Autumn, 2020: [Brazil]:neitrer = neither!
