24 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:Have fun all! I look forward to welcoming your citizens into the loving embrace of the Near East.
24 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:hahaha that was the most backhanded wish-giving i've ever encountered can i use that elsewhere?
25 Nov 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:Feel free -- after all, what's yours is mine.
03 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2001: [Argentina]:Another World Diplomacy game if anyone is interested (need 4 more people)

Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: [USA]:we should really get someone to replace antartica if he's that huge.
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Quebec]:Agreed. It's rather unbalancing.
22 Dec 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: [Oz]:let me take back australia first lol
27 Dec 13 UTC Spring, 2005: [Near-East]:Welcome, new Frozen Antarctica! Thanks for joining.
07 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Argentina]:I'm happy to join you!
10 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2007: [Near-East]:Gah, misorders are brutal. Whoever named Morocco and Mauritania should be shot.
11 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2007: [Quebec]:Did I come at a bad time?

16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Ghana]:Near-East you think Mauritania and Morocco are bad enough? Try Niger and Nigeria, there's no way to distinguish them from each other apart from googling them
16 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:Yeah, last time I played I was Libya... that whole continent is a nightmare.
17 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Ghana]:and bullshit, this is one of the first games I've played (maybe even ever have been played in the history of this mod) that a country other then Kenya in the continent had almost become as powerful as Kenya. (No offense Kenya) but Kenya naturally gets it easy in this mod, easily being able to take most of the central African Sc's and South Africa is pretty much guaranteed to fall against them.
17 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Kenya]:IMHO, Kenya has a slight edge in Africa, but South Africa has it the worst. Split between two continents? How is that fair?
17 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:I was a part of a tourney that ended last year sometime, where everyone played 17 games at once (one as each country) -- there's a thread about it up on the forums. The general consensus is that USA, South Africa, and Pacific Russia all tend to get shafted pretty hard, while Kenya, Quebec/WC, and Argentina/Brazil all tend to do well. It's a good map, and an enjoyable one, but there are certainly some balance issues.
17 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I was in a game as South Africa where I controlled all of Antarctica and Africa.
17 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Near-East]:It's certainly doable (and congrats on the accomplishment!) but it's often very difficult -- moreso than for most other countries.
18 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Ghana]:true, it is possible to do well as some of these super hard to play countries. However you would have to have Kenya to be played by a noob to do well at playing South Africa.
18 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Well, he was just too trusting.
24 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2009: [Ghana]:wow Kenya is a massive dipshit, he thinks allying with Near-East will save his ass from total annihilation by Near-east... Also he muted me, cause he's a pussy and doesn't like swear words
24 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Quebec]:Lol
24 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I'd mute you too if i were him, just jealous you're not as good.
24 Jan 14 UTC Autumn, 2009: [Near-East]:Eh... Ghana got screwed over a bit because of Europe's CD and my landgrab that followed -- I'd be annoyed too, in his place. That said, venting in Global about a player who muted you isn't the best way to appear cool-headed and worth working with :)
29 Jan 14 UTC Spring, 2010: [Kenya]:Sore losers ruin the game for everyone.
05 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I'd be fine with a draw now, what about everyone else?
05 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 2011: [Near-East]:Heck no! This game's got a lot of play left in it, I think :)
11 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 2012: [Quebec]:Can we draw after Russia and FA are finished?
11 Feb 14 UTC Spring, 2012: [Kenya]:That sounds fair.
21 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:OK lets try this again. How about you don't attack me this time. I really want to draw, I have no interest in fighting anymore. How about it?
24 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Frozen-Antarctica]:how about we all vote draw now?
24 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Quebec]:Looks like Near east and Kenya are too ambitious
24 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Kenya]:And why would we give 1/4 of the points to someone who has barely been in the game and has very few SCs left?
24 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Near-East]:Agreed... I have nothing against Frozen, I just feel it's silly to give him a place in this draw given the current board-state. If you feel strongly about including him, then by all means try and prop him up -- if we can't physically take him out, then we'd have no choice than to draw.
24 Feb 14 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Frozen-Antarctica]:yeah i know I'm done, it was worth a shot though.
13 Mar 14 UTC [Near-East]:Well Kenya, shall we draw this one?
13 Mar 14 UTC [Kenya]:Sounds good.
13 Mar 14 UTC [Near-East]:Great game all -- sorry to see Quebec call it quits, because I was hoping to win it all. Once he left though, I didn't want to have to attack Kenya to do it.
