06 Dec 13 UTC Guak - you definitely outplayed me to avoid a solo... but the draw needed thinning... and you needed punishing... <GRIN> Indy and Nesser just weren't grateful enough for all your hard work... Nicely played -- until you stalled those last two moves to keep us from drawing for 3 days!!! not finalizing your moves... come on, dude!
06 Dec 13 UTC I'm to blame for being cautious on helping with the thinning, but was paranoid about France :) I could foresee first eliminating Germany, then Russia, and then being caught too far north as Austria pulled way back to allow France to crush me! New to WTA, so there is definitely some learning curve... Guak, question for you...if you had seen me coming for you and your choice was to abandon St. Pete to give the solo to Austria, or to lose St. Pete to me and allow a French/Eng/Aus draw,...which would have happened? :)
06 Dec 13 UTC I think the caution was called for, and Austria backed a bit too slowly to make a three-way-draw seem possible at first. Good gamne though, thanks all.
06 Dec 13 UTC If I played Russia I would have given the solo to Austria the moment England started moving against me. :P
