04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:Hello everybody.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [USA]:Howdy! Looking forward to A Terribly Long Game.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Hello everyone!
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:You may have read some falsehoods on the news, but rest assured the Syrian people are united now more than ever, working closely with the governments of Iraq and Saudi Arabia in the interest of the region. We extend the hand of friendship to the revolutionary regimes in Libya and Egypt, to the peaceful Indians in the East, and to our traditional friends of Russia.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [India]:Greetings to the rest of the planet!
The Republic of India happily accepts the extended hand of friendship from the Near East. What is to be done with the neutral centre of Afghanistan, to which we both have access?
To the Australians I offer friendship with a guarantee of no interference in Indonesia, and to the Chinese I do the same with Lanzhou.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:Greetings to all nations.
People in Libya and Egypt have already tired of endless war and looking forward to cooperation with other nations to betterment of all countries involved. We would accept hand of friendship with Syria and Saudi Arabia, Kenya and Europe, our former partners. And hopefully we can reach some sort of agreement, Ghana.
Best wishes for all of us.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:Canada hopes that the North American powers can amicably divide the continent. There are enough supply centers to keep us all happy this year. I suggest Quebec take Godthab and Union, that I take Manitoba and Alaska, and that the Americans take the Indian Territories and Mexico.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Western-Canada]:Canada agrees to the Quebec Ideal for the North American Continent, but is disturbed b the mistaken identity of Quebec.

Best of luck with all nations, and may peace reign throughout the lands.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:[[sorry, have another world game where I'm WC and totally flubbed it. still think its a fair divide of the continent though!]]
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:Hello everyone from South Africa; we look forward to amicable relationships with all powers and an excellent game for everyone.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:We appeal to the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. Border tensions are high with Saudi Arabia, and we would like to reach a resolution to leave the Red Sea unoccupied, or alternatively to bounce forces in the area.

India - we will be freeing the people of Iran but I see no reason to bother the Afghans. We look forward to working together.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:To Syrian Leader,
We find your request to DMZ Red Sea is very difficult due to it is one of thetwo exit from my fleet in Egypt. One thing that I assure you: we are not thinking on expanding your way right now and we will honor the border.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:Very well.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Hi all. First of all I would like tobe directly and suggest to my neighbous Argentina, South Africa and Oz a formal agreement to define ours borders for this first year. Thanks all for this long game
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Kenya]:Greetings to all nations,
I hope for peace with my neighbors in Africa, and wish all nations the best of luck.
05 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Quebec]:I would like to suggest entirety of the Atlantic Ocean be considered a demilitarized zone for the time being. I'm ready to enforce such an arrangement and hope my American neighbors are as well. The invitation of friendship of course extends to the powers on the other side of the pond. I think a peaceful ocean would be to all our benefits
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Oz]:G'day to all nations,
To India, I happily accept your offered hand of friendship. In gratitude for your non-interference in Indonesia, we will extend you the same courtesy to the Thai peninsula.
To our frosty mates in the Antarctic, whilst I plan to expand to Tasmania and New Zealand, I have no intentions of encroaching on your continent - we extend an offer of friendship with your nation.
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Near-East]:I would like to call for Russia and Europe to engage in dialogue
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [Libya]:So, Ghana and Kenya.
How we can split the neutral SC between us?
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2000: [South-Africa]:We welcome all friends, and would like to establish a few oceanic DMZs for this first year: Southeast Atlantic, Southwest Indian and the Mozambique Channel. I plan on taking BAT, ZAM & MOZ immediately, but have no designs on anything else. I'm somewhat tempted to abandon Antarctica completely to consolidate my forces and as a show of goodwill to Frozen Antarctica, but I have yet to decide one way or another.
