12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck all
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Bonne Chance!
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Yo Russia why did you go to Prussia over Sil? Prussia is annoying for Germany Sil is a nightmare.
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: maybe he just wanted to annoy instead of infuriate?
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Real classy, Russia.
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1904: Got to love CDs.
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1906: haha poor Russia.
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Ok, I have my draw vote up. I see Italy got spooked, so I would rather just draw, maybe eliminate another country or 2 (like russia).
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1906: Deal.
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Booooo
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1909: He'll win solo dummies. Hit draw.
12 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1909: I would like to state, for the record, that the Austria player has been an absolute joy to play with, and I'd like to thank (a) thehamster for organizing this game and (b) everybody showing up and not NMR'ing until well after 1902. Though, there are those who would argue that WAR-PRU in Spring '01 is a form of NMR'ing.
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1910: Austria, would you mind not proving me wrong not ten minutes after I say something very nice? Please vote the draw, we've accomplished a stalemate line and I'd like to Skype with my wife now. Thanks
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1910: I'll try not to hold you up
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1910: Ok ... this boggles the mind. This boggles the friggin' mind. France, why would you do this and get zero points?
12 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1910: Not WTA.
12 Aug 13 UTC But, still ... why on earth would you do that?
12 Aug 13 UTC Austria wanted me to kill you for a 17-17. I don't have time so I threw him the solo.
12 Aug 13 UTC Well. That move, my good sir, is a douche move.
12 Aug 13 UTC You think I didn't have shit to do tonight either? We play for 2 hours and you pull a bullshit move like that to end it? Just establish the stalemate line, call in the mods if Austria won't agree to a draw, and call it a game. Don't pull some punk-ass move like that.
12 Aug 13 UTC god damn this is so frustrating. Thanks for hosting hamster, and way to play the tool as a fool.
12 Aug 13 UTC AAR: Good game, all around.

Hamster- you were very effective at building trust between us and playing into my preference to pick a partner and go. Granted, you were a bit fortunate with Russia's play, and once I saw you in Galicia, I probably should have convoyed to Albania and taken Trieste. That would have certainly changed the dynamic of the game! But, overall you stayed true to your word - and I stayed true to you - right until you cracked Germany in Munich and started strongly threatening a solo. For the life of me, I couldn't see you sitting back and waiting the 1-2 hours it would take for me to round the horn in MAO and get to 17.

Hammourabi - I think you played a great game. Slipping into position on LVP was a terrific move. I think that if you had stayed out of PIE, I would have headed for Austria sooner, but once you crossed our DMZ line in force like that, I had to play defense. I will question, for a long time, your decision to cheap shot there at the end - especially how you went from discussing a 17-17 draw (I emphasize DRAW) to throwing a solo. I guess, in all, we're talking about a net difference of 8 points for you, but it was still a pretty d-bag move. In the future, I'd like to see you make moves that were in your own best interest, but I don't really see myself holding this against you (well ... not THAT much).

Benj - sorry bro. At one point, I had all the SC's you ever occupied, so ... I guess that makes me the asshole. However, you should be more proactive in trying to break up an alliance headed you way. I would have been amenable to taking Greece while you took Bulgaria in 1902 (I would have pulled EAS back to ION). But you never really put much of an effort into driving a wedge between Austria and myself. Which means you either didn't really care or you were putting the bulk of your effort into convincing Austria to attack me. Either way, I don't think you played poorly - when Russia gives up a token defense (in which it won't really coordinate with you) and Italy and Austria play the Lepanto ... things will generally end poorly for Turkey. Every time.
12 Aug 13 UTC Yeah I apologize for the anti-climactic end. My girlfriend decided to come over an hour earlier than I was expecting her. Seeing as it was a PPSC game I really didn't feel like making her sit around while I we forced a draw or killed you off, Italy.

My moves were DEFINITELY in my best interests, and she will attest to that on my behalf!
