Game won by Lelandus de Mirandis (555 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1994: Ugh, forgot to move into Libya. Damn foolish of me
15 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1997: Hey guys, I'm going to be gone until Monday, could we get a pause?
15 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1997: Will do.
16 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1997: Sure man.
17 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1998: Reminder that my opponent needs a pause until Monday. Thanks.
17 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Asking for a pause in a lage public game rarely works as everyone needs to agree and people would rather take advantage.
18 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Yeah, I wish they'd revise the code for a better pausing system.
18 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Well, good news he will return to find all his stuff intact as noone can take proper advantage
18 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Yeah, his empire is hard to pillage.
18 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Hooray, I wasn't pillaged.
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: But France was sacked.
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: i dont understand why sacking me was such a great feat?
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: It isn't when you are on the receiving end.
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: i have won more games than any of you!
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: I have played several games with you. You are an excellent player.
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: thank you italy....i just dont see what germany is boasting about
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: I didn't really think he was boasting as much as recognizing that when we are the ones being sacked, it seemed like it was too easy. I know I have felt that way every time two or three people gang up on me. :(
19 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: i have been ganged up on many times....it is usually because players on the board are afraid of my record....
23 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1999: heyyyyyyyyyy turkey is was ottoman
23 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1999: ??? Ummm, yeah, . . . was.
23 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 1999: About a hundred years ago.....
28 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 2001: I know it's a bit late to say this, but I did not mean to offend you France. I was just making the observation you had me and Italy beat back pretty far, and it took us plus Britain to bring you down. If it takes 3 nations to bring you down, that's pretty impressive in my book.
28 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 2001: Admit it, you think France is a punkface
30 Aug 13 UTC Autumn, 2001: Finally Gibraltar is again under the British Crown...
06 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Ok people, its time we all get serious about this Germany situation. I believe we will be able to hold the present line of defense with teh exception of the British SC's in the north.
Playing for a couple more points in a survive is silly. Lets try and force a draw.
Eliminate Spain and push for a 4 way draw.
06 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: Lol, Egypt thinks he deserves a piece of the draw.
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2005: You do way more than him Spain.
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2005: I am just saying that Spain can be done away with by someone other than Germany. If I fall, that means Germany rolled in and took my 4 SC and he wins

Thats how this game works. make sure someone doesnt win the game...
06 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2005: Its not about deservings, its about the reality of the situation. If you want fair, go play checkers
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: My god italy. Just helping him win like a chump. Loser
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Germany was always my ally. I stick with my allies, and even help them win.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Italy and I have been together since '94. You're lucky you have a guardian angel Egypt.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Helping someone win just means your a chump. You either win or draw. Anything else is a failure.
If your ok being a failure...I guess I will say Good Job
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: This, of course, is coming from someone who is a total and utter failure.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: I think the nation that never even got above 6 centers is the biggest failure of those left in the game. Even what's left of Spain was once greater. Especially when he was with France. Italy did not hand me victory. We both fought for it. We used to be in a worse situation than you. But we pulled through. Britain helped too. Why you can't see a kind gesture is logical is forever beyond me. If either of my allies would have asked back in the day, I would have gladly gave them the victory. We fought. Now you will die.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Correction. What's left of Spain IS greater.
08 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: Bravo, Germany.

Good teamwork and ample trust is far more impressive in my opinion than fortuitous stabs and a winner-take-all mentality.
08 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2005: If trust and teamwork were so important, germany would be willing to draw with you and britain. What do you say germany....help italy and britain eliminate spain and I then draw....do it for the team. You wont because your not an idiot....you just found two to follow you
08 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2006: There's only one problem with that statement. (Well, a lot. But lets not get into those) You surviving. I don't see why we need you to determine when we should draw and how. You are a tiny little country that is about to get swallowed. All of your arguments involve you surviving. As you said a few comments ago, "Its not about deserving, its about the reality of the situation." And in my opinion, you don't deserve anything. Your reality is even worse too. You deserve to die by your own logic, and I will be glad to wipe you off the map by the time this game is over. You may have won Modern Diplomacy 1, but you will not survive the second.
08 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2006: The worst losers are the ones who try to throw their weight around when they have none.
08 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2006: Of course you believe that you should wipe me out and win the game by yourself. I aplaud you, your acting like a real diplomacy player. My statement is that I am instrumental in stopping your march to 33 SCs.
Since everyone thinks its awesome for you to win, and them to lose, that doesnt matter.
I am not advocating for my own survival anymore, I am advocating people to not be fools
08 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2006: Now if Italy and england had a plan to stop you without me, great, they should go for it. By their own admission they dont. They dont even need to stab you, just stop HELPING you.
10 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 2006: Sorry about that guys.
11 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2007: It happens.
16 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2009: Let's finally finish this.
16 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 2009: Agreed. Good game all.
