01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Hi all, gl!
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Good luck all!
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: this is so cool! I love this new version! hopefully it's fun to play too
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: If the forums are right on the σ* of these maps then it will be very fun indeed!

* σ = standard deviation, a very useful statistics figure.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Just out of interest, has anyone played a game on this map before?
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: nope
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Not a complete one, I'm in three active ones now.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Nope - first time. Looks like it will be fun and well balanced.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Not sure how Gibraltar's going to work out other than Spain om nomming it first turn
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Gibraltar makes England more competitive in the Med. They go from Gibraltar to Morocco while Spain takes Gibraltar.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Gibraltar is, in my opinion, the only thing salvaging England's current position.
01 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I guess the removal of Brest as an SC means that Britain can't do a good attack on France so she needs access to the med to compensate
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: The fact that England starts with no armies seems a bit unbalanced to me.
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I guess now that Ireland's an SC England needs all the fleets it can get for the first turn
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: But in this scenario England is reduced to coastal raiding for at least two years, it seems to me.
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Love how Britain doesn't have anything to say about this :P
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: I'm trying to work out whether or not it's better to hold Gibraltar for a phase, or to just abandon it and take Morocco.
02 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1994: Both options have their merits. I think I'm starting to prefer this map to the standard.
12 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1997: so quiet in the global lets get some conversations going
12 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1997: Here is Brittain.
So It's godd to have an Sc on Gibraltar, but Spain takes it in the first year. Brittain can only escape to Morocco. But not too long. As you can see, France can block my way in Mid Atl Ocean, so I can't reach the southern battlefield to help.
12 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1997: The other point is, that the northern part also became complicated. In the Original game England could take Norway in a year, and fighe Russia on St.Petersburg north coast.
Here Russia comes from Murmansk and St Petersburg, and has a strong presence at Scandinavia.
18 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1998: Adana?!?! You'll never hold onto the place that holds Batman! Never!!!
29 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: Why did the game pause?
29 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 2000: (goldfinger0303): Check the forum
14 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 2004: I'm out for the rest of the summer, sorry.
21 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 2006: Good game. Thanks, everybody. I got lucky again. Russia, I'm glad you survived; you fought for it.
21 Jul 13 UTC Good Game, I believe I am the first player to have a fleet in Kazakhstan.
22 Jul 13 UTC That was a very odd move at the end turkey. Why didn't you protect Israel?
22 Jul 13 UTC Je ne pense pas.
