07 Jun 13 UTC Autumn, 1901: Talk about some generic openings :)
13 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: I will need a 3 day pause please.
13 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Pause please.
13 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: If the pause doesn't go through before you leave, I'll contact a mod
15 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Any chance we could extend this through next Wednesday? Sorry for the inconvenience.
15 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Yeah, just unpause when you're ready. I don't mind
16 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: I'm back, but Wednesday would be fine also.
20 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: Thanks guys.
20 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1902: No problem.
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I'll be in England on vacation for the next ten days, so I will only be getting on once or twice a day. Hopefully this won't cause too many crossed wires.
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Wow, I can't believe I missed my build phase. That sux.
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I'm way too busy for this tournament
27 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: I've just kind of lost my passion for diplomacy. I'm going to take a hiatus when the tourney ends.
30 Jun 13 UTC Spring, 1903: Hey guys, can I get a pause from Tuesday through the weekend? I'm going camping and likely won't have cell service.
01 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yeah, ill submit my pause order
01 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Do you need the pause now, or on Tuesday?
01 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: On Tuesday, I'm just voting now.
02 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Italy, can you please vote pause?
02 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I'm getting seriously annoyed. It took half an hour to enter orders due to intermittent signal, my orders ended up wrong, and I'm about to lose recEption entirely. Tournament rules permit me this, and I really need you to view.
03 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: I understand your annoyance, but on Sunday you asked for the pause to happen on Tuesday. You had ample time to enter your moves and the turn ended before Tuesday was over. I will PM the mod to make sure the game pauses if Italy does not vote for a pause.
03 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Many apologies, I paused and have not finalized, saw the earlier message but as Eng mentioned it was for Tue, not Sun. Hope I didn't mess the game for you.
08 Jul 13 UTC Autumn, 1903: Sorry for flipping out guys. I left Monday night and Tuesday ended up being a day filled with tow trucks and mechanics instead of camping fun, so I was more than a bit grumpy for completely unrelated reasons and I let that carry over. Apologies to everybody I hurt by fucking up my orders (you're welcome England :P).

Thanks for the pause guys.
25 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Ok, do we have a problem with France now?
25 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1905: (goldfinger0303): Hang on guys, I'll be putting a sub in for France shortly. Sorry I didn't catch this yesterday.
28 Jul 13 UTC Spring, 1905: Bonjour all. We've had a bit of a reorganization in France here, and the new authorities are still getting their hats on straight, nobody can find the wine, and the trains are running late. I'll send each of you greetings personally within the next 18 hours and then unpause.
10 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1906: I'm going to be out of town for a week starting tomorrow. Shouldn't miss a turn, but I may be less chatty than normal.
15 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Pause for a new France?
15 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: (goldfinger0303): He should be back, so I won't be getting a new sub. Someone should have emailed me so I could have prevented the NMR
17 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: So sorry, everyone. I was at a conference a few hours out of town, and honestly, I simply forgot that I was in a game until Thursday. I don't have any mobile devices that let me check the game, and while I could have logged in from a public hotel computer (and that's what I intended to do), I just forgot to do so.
17 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Goldfinger was right: you jokers should have emailed him to force pause, but mainly I'm the dumbass. Sorry for the damage, and I'll play it out now.
18 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: (goldfinger0303): I've made sure it won't happen again. Why I never did this in the first place is beyond me. But, I've installed the wait for orders mode tournament wide now.
19 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry for the delay. I am on vacation this week and will be very busy. So, I will not be un-pausing right away.
19 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm not sure how this "Wait for Orders" feature works, but perhaps it doesn't require an unpause vote from everyone, but rather orders entered from everyone. I've never seen it before.
Either way, no worries, England.
21 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: (goldfinger0303): As far as I'm aware, a paused game is a paused game no matter what. But, it is a new feature that only mods can put on a game, so I'm not sure of the exact mechanics of it
26 Aug 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry for the delay, long trip in the wilderness.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: While we wait for France to retreat I'd appreciate your thoughts regarding the next moves.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Did I say that out loud?
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Oh well, it's true enough., lol.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: I would suggest a supported attack on Brest. I'll make a move for Naples.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: lol Turkey. I once made a complete opening proposal, detailed, and obviously intended for a potential ally, on the global. We went on to follow the proposal as outlined and finished with a small draw.
04 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1908: Yeah, England,I think we've all done that at some time. I do it about every 10 games. At least it was fairly benign this time.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: I think I may have been that ally, England. At least, the same thing happened in a game I was in.
07 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1908: Anyway, gg all. Sorry I was only slightly less flaky than the original France. I learned that it's really hard to get your head into a game you didn't help shape. 1901 is pretty important.
12 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1909: England, you are a Silver Tongued Devil and I want you to negotiate my next automobile purchase for me!
12 Sep 13 UTC Spring, 1909: I think you may be giving me more credit than I deserve.
15 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1909: Thought that might happen. Was really hoping it wouldn't.
25 Sep 13 UTC Autumn, 1910: (goldfinger0303): Germany, when you get back please enter orders immediately. Everyone else, please don't negotiate with Germany until the phase passes through.
01 Oct 13 UTC Alright guys, this game is a fucking joke and we're screwed anyway, so I'm just saving all holds and allowing the inevitable to happen more quickly.
01 Oct 13 UTC Yes, unfortunately you're entirely right. Apologies to all for my part in this stupidity, didn't invest nearly enough time to try and change things.
01 Oct 13 UTC Good game everyone.
