23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Russia calling Turkey: a peaceful Black Sea should benefit us both. Let me know your thoughts.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: Oh. This is classic press, not public press only? Well... this is awkward.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: :)
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: france might warn that im helping to attack you but im not, im just trying to lie my way into belgium ;) btw dont tell him that i told you this
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: That was quite the slip up. I think we all know who not to trust now.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: well this is akward....
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: fine you can have belgium but we go our separate ways.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: That was substantially more awkward than my public offer of a demilitarized Black Sea. I'm willing to stand by mine.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: yeah, i think i just fucked up big time.
23 Apr 13 UTC Spring, 1901: hahaha I've never seen 2 of these in one phase
29 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: bwb22198 was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
29 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Boo. Multis suck. Now I have to re-negotiate whatever alliances I may or may not have had with Germany. Do I hear a motion to cancel?
29 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: So Germany was a multi, but whose? Cancel would work for me though.
29 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Not mine. Possibly (or probably, given the lack of moderator intervention) someone not present in this game.
29 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Here's his profile: http://webdiplomacy.net/profile.php?userID=52266
Presumably his multi was one of those people with whom he was playing in all the private games.
30 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Greetings from the new Kaiser.
30 Apr 13 UTC Autumn, 1902: Greetings and salutations.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Damn it. France CDed. There is four of us left and, even though Turkey only has two SCs, at least he hasn't gone missing. What do you all say to drawing now?
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I worked pretty hard to get into the position I'm in now, and I think I'd have pushed for the solo even if France didn't CD. I sort of feel like it's my prerogative to take this to endgame rather than settling for the draw.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I would normally agree except France was sillign to work with me according to his messages and we could possibly have stopped the solo. Now, it isn't possible to stop you. If you manage to pull it off without France, I won't complain, but I can't stop you from taking Edi and Lon nor can I take even one of them back. So his CD just gave you 17, instead of 15 and you can then take Lvp unstoipped for 18. This game is won by you without you having to fight for it.

I promise to not complain and to not interfere (as I would have been busy helping fight you with France) if you promise to get all you gains from Turkey and Italy seeing as France would have been busy in the north stopiing you any how, they would have been the only defense in the south.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Even before he CD'ed, I was pursuing a northerly route, and I'd have taken Edinburgh anyway. Did his CD slow me down in taking London, too? Probably. But to suggest that I should leave England alone because of his CD is a little unrealistic, isn't it?
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I have already written the mods and asked them to weigh in on this. Hoipefully you will listen to them and discuss it with them when they do.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Oh, absolutely. I'm happy to talk openly about this.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I've no intention to be unreasonable. I merely feel that there should be consideration of the fact that I was most of the way to a solo prior to France's CD.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I agree and the CD is unfortunate. His NMR a turn or two prior was also unfortunate. It is always a problenm when the second largest player on the board starts flaking on the game, It is unfair to everyone, including the potential victor.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm sure the moderators' review will be even-handed and well-considered.
22 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Yes. I really don't mind losing, I just hate it when what was a possibly stop and a fun fight becomes this due to a flake out.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: The mods said it should be drawn... But they won't force it. Instead we should with pity upon the solo victor who gets such a cheap victory.

Just kidding. They said they won't interfere but one did agree it was a cheap win in the end.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Would you care to knock me out before you win anyway russia. I hate survives...
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I'll agree that it's a cheap one, but I've been in your position in games that were similar, but less one-sided where other players refused to take the draw. If I've had to take defeats I didn't think I deserved because of a late-game CD, I can't justify giving up a victory I think I deserve because of one.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: So you take the win this game because you lost in other games? That is the classic definition of metagaming. Doing something here to account for something outside of here.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: LOL adapting your playing style is definitely not metagaming. Try not to sound too upset.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: I'm not upset. Just using whatever tools at my.disposal to.convince you to draw.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Metagaming is exchanging favors with another player because of something they did for you in another game. Noticing techniques other players use and employing them is called learning.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Accusing an innocent Russian of metagaming on the global chat thread, however, is classic public-cheating-accusation-making, which *is* against the rules.
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: (just saying)
23 May 13 UTC Spring, 1907: Actually, that was not a cheating accusation as I didn't claim what you did was against the rules. Not all metagaming is against the rules. :-) Your reasons for what you are doing is unfair to us and metagaming, but not against the rules. :-)
24 May 13 UTC Second! :P
