Spring, 1901: Turkey, mark your orders as ready.
Autumn, 1901: Anybody care to just talk about interests outside of Diplomacy? I enjoy female robots, vintage cartoons, and extinct animals. What of you?
Autumn, 1901: I'm not the only one? :P |
|
Autumn, 1901: The only one who likes what? Gynoids? Silly Symphonies? Ornithodirans?
Autumn, 1901: Idk I don't even know what I'm talking about |
|
Spring, 1902: Hat tip to all for not flaking ^ ^/
Spring, 1903: Yup Saw that comin, Germany. |
|
Spring, 1903: I sent you a message earlier that you wouldn't be interrogated. Think of this as a gentle rescue force in case your friend across the Channel feels like being a little less merciful than I. You are free to set up a government in exile from Switzerland at any time ^_^
Autumn, 1903: What's going on in the Balkans?
Autumn, 1903: what? | |
Autumn, 1903: I don't know; that's why I'm asking o_o
Autumn, 1903: Do you have a better idea for small talk? It appears people here don't like fembots, T. rex, or the 1930s.
Autumn, 1903: Who is going to annex Portugal?
Autumn, 1903: Me | |
Autumn, 1903: sure | |
Autumn, 1903: of course :D
Spring, 1904: Only way for you to do that, France, is by destroying the Parisian army. Can't say I'd be upset by that at all ^_^;
Spring, 1904: Well, that was mildly amusing.
Autumn, 1904: R.I.P., France. Right now, I'm listening to "The Grasshopper and the Ants". Do you like Eve or Love more? "Schizomycota" is not a legitimate taxon. YAHOO IS YOUR FRIEND, PEOPLE! (And now my cartoon feed changes to Simple Simon. Stop using geese to go fishing for pies.) |
|
Autumn, 1904: RIP France, good game
Autumn, 1904: You speak too soon… Ok you're right. |
|
Spring, 1905: France being dead and buried, I need somebody else to serve as an outlet for my inane babbling. I hereby appoint the Prime Minister of Great Britain to fulfill the position. Now, explain to me why I am doing this, and maybe answer my question from earlier on who you prefer, or explain why pterodactyls are not dinosaurs. Or convoy me into Edinburgh ^_^ |
|
Autumn, 1905: I see that your little squabble over the last neutral state in the world has finally ended. Congratulations. England, I still need you to get back to me with those random questions and/or explain who I should bother in the public press instead and why. One free year's supply of beer if you answer both questions and get the pterodactyl one right. |
|
Autumn, 1905: Hello, Edinburgh.... Any news on why your Prime Minister is so uncommunicative and knows nothing of palaeontology?

|
Autumn, 1905: (Message re-sent upon re-loading page. Sorry. I may be insane, but I'm not a spammer.)
Autumn, 1907: It appears the Prime Minister has failed to contact me upon my invasion of London, and thus he has been destroyed without mercy. To answer my own questions for him and prove I am not a hypocrite, I prefer Eve myself and the pterodactyls are not dinosaurs because they do not fall within the clade of Ornithischia + Saurischia, but fall just outside of both. They ARE both ornithodirans, though. (Pterodactyls and dinosaurs, not Eve. She's a robot. I'm a mammal. Dimetrodon was a reptile related to mammals. Tuatara are a group of their own. Does anyone here understand me?)
Autumn, 1907: nope :P | |
Autumn, 1908: Austria is't so mighty now, huh?
Autumn, 1908: At this point he can hope maybe for survival if he gives himself up as a vassal with zero sense of self-interest beyond keeping his few holdings in the Balkans. Italy, why don't you understand what I said earlier? |
|
Autumn, 1909: I give up, taking on Germany and Italy at the same time...no
Autumn, 1909: My friend, Tsar, I've already told you why I'm doing this. I sent you a civil declaration of war SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE, but you did nothing. I'm willing to negotiate a peace treaty IN PUBLIC, but if things break down you'll need to go in with these - imgur.com/vDWY2qY Dunkle's bones are getting hungry.... And what a terrible fish.... |
|
Autumn, 1909: I take it Russia has LANCB.
Autumn, 1909: Or maybe not. Tsar Mongoose, if you're willing to get past the placoderms (see above link), I am willing to negotiate.
Spring, 1910: I can't believe how the map of Europe has changed since I assumed power as Kaiser of Germany a decade ago from Wilheim II's impromptu disappearance. France and England, rivals through history, are both no more, crushed at the hands of former foes from antiquity who learned to get along and are now reaping the fruits of our. labours. Russia was once mighty but she neglected herself and is very soon to be no more. Austria-Hungary, in the face of adversity, was clever and still survives. Truly this will be a time in history that will inspire future generations. What are all your thoughts on now vs. 10 years ago? |
|
Autumn, 1910: GameMaster: Mongoose_ was banned: multi/meta. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
|
Autumn, 1910: >_< Mongoose hasn't been putting in any orders for a year or two now anyway, has publicly announced he gave up in Autumn 1909. At least it'll give Italy (who's had an unscheduled absence since Saturday) a chance to put in orders, and keep the rest of us waiting another day.
Spring, 1911: Did Italy capitulate?
GG to all! | |
