Game won by Finrod (130 D)
12 May 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Dateline: Paris - Diplomats have been dispatched to every major nation in Europe. The great Republic of France hopes that current tensions can be resolved without bloodshed.
12 May 09 UTC Spring, 1901: Rrussia extends warm wishes to all nations, hoping that togetherr we can build a bettrr worrld.
13 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: I'm not entirely sure how the turn advanced so quickly. I guess it jumps ahead if we all finalize our orders?
13 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: Somehow I lost 41 hours. I left my screen up from the other day and thought I had more time either that or everyone finailsed there orders.
14 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: You DID have more time. I don't think we all realized that finalizing the orders would make the turn advance.
15 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: 29 more hours! Argh!!!
15 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: let's go ahead and get all those orders finalized, then
16 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: So, why can't I input orders now?
16 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1901: you can only put in orders if your can build armys at this point
18 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: France is horrified - Horrified - at the turn toward war our continent has embraced. At least Scandinavia is untouched by the carnage thus far.
19 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: So says one of only 2 who attacked a fellow player.
19 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: Methinks Germany needs to learn to count. If you're counting by territorial invasion, three attacking a fellow player. If you include attacking units as well, then it's four.
20 May 09 UTC Spring, 1902: I was counting SC's only. I figure the rest where just touring the countryside.
20 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: The Russian might officially declares war on traitorous Turkey.
21 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey has replaced it's emissaries in Russia today due to deteriorating negotiations. Turkey has promised that the new representation will be more cooperative in handling disputes over boundaries.
21 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Russia welcomes with pleasure the new Turkish emissary hoping this delegation has more sense than the last.
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Russia is proud to announce that all Turkish emmisaries have been dully executed publicly and as shamefully as possible. As all can see, Turkey YET AGAIN betrayed Russian trust as expected and will now be promptly crushed.
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: All I see Turkey doing is supporting itself. How is that a betrayal?
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: (And how do you execute someone "dully"? With a butter knife?)
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: That's because you ignore our arrangements which he has broken twice now.
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: I fail to see Russia's argument that Turkey has indeed broken agreements twice. I recall Turkey breaking it once to no avail, and then Russia stated that it would forgive Turkey's lapse in judgement. Which I suppose I could have mistaken to think an alliance was still in effect for the two countries. Of course, the "welcoming with pleasure the new Turkish emissary" part must have been a ploy to sneak into Turkey's backyard. Unfortunately, that failed because Turkey forsaw your treachery. However, I would like to note that Turkey deserved the advance from Russia for breaking their previous agreement in Autumn of 1901. Now that that is settled, Turkey will have to decide what to do. Since Russia has blatantly and openly declared carnage on Turkey, let the world know that Turkey will indeed shed much Russian blood. Turkey may lose, but Russia's other enemies will reap the reward!
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Out of Character: I would like everyone to know that I am in no way angry at the turn of events. It is a game and is supposed to be played like this. I say this simply because sometimes in written text, I can come off upset. :-)
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: <sniff> Can't we all just get along?
23 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey is just NOT trust worthy at all.
24 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: It looks like England needs some counsel at which city to build an army.
24 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: Turkey ignores Russia.
24 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1902: England needs counsel for a great many things. It's the stiff upper lip that keeps us from asking, though.
27 May 09 UTC Spring, 1903: what happened, did i miss a turn?
27 May 09 UTC Spring, 1903: Once everyone finalizes their turn then the game proceeds.(it happened to me the first turn)
31 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: In the world news today the Armys of France have invaded the Italian province of Tunis thus breaking the treay with Italy. As there seems to be no stopping the French juggernaut the world counsel is advising all remaining countries to learn how to speak french.
31 May 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: What is this "world counsel" you speak of? Sounds rather... communistic to me. Should we be eyeing that massive Russian behemoth a little closer?
01 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yeah because the French machine with 8 centers is no threat at all right?
05 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1904: Darn, I didn't input any orders.
05 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: I bid you all a good night as the chapter on germany closes
06 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: But... but... he's not dead yet!
07 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Only one final stab of the knife to go.
10 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: have fun, I'm outta here, let me know when the next one starts
11 Jun 09 UTC Autumn, 1904: Someone should contact Italy and tell him to finalize some orders.
14 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1905: wow France, austria, turkey and russia are all on right now. 6:18pm 6-14-09
15 Jun 09 UTC Spring, 1905: Germany, too!
06 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1907: Turkey's advances next phase are to insure that its land remains controlled.
06 Jul 09 UTC Spring, 1907: By Turkey, of course!
16 Jul 09 UTC Why don't we just go ahead and call this one? It IS over anyway. I think France has won fair and square, so let's start a new one!
16 Jul 09 UTC When we finish this turn, it will end.
18 Jul 09 UTC Man, I learned THAT lesson. Never gove up the Black Sea, it makes a HUGE difference.
