Spring, 1901: Good luck all!
Autumn, 1901: Looks like Turkey's not here. Do you guys want to play this one out?
Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Terry Lazarus was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
|
Autumn, 1901: I'm going to put up draw/cancel since Turkey's not here. Up to you guys if you want to put in the time to play this one out.
Autumn, 1901: How about you go fuck yourself France. Is that okay?
Autumn, 1901: Ouch. That's a bit strong
Autumn, 1901: I'm on board with France to draw/cancel.
Autumn, 1901: My, Italy, that's some hostility. What do you guys think? Should we play this out? I'd rather decide now than later as what usually happens in games with a CD is that the game pointlessly goes on for 3-4 turns before draw/cancelling anyways. |
|
Autumn, 1901: My vote is to continue. Turkey needs a player, but it isn't in THAT bad of a position, so maybe we can get someone to pick them up? Do you post a message in the forums to do that? No one else has missed a turn.
Autumn, 1901: That's fine. It's just good to know that the game will continue so we can all devote enough time to it. Hopefully someone will pick up Turkey.
Autumn, 1901: Well Germany is basically dead so he and turkey can be thrown to the side. Kinda hard when you can't build
Autumn, 1901: I'm still here yo.
Autumn, 1901: I love how Russia thinks Turkey is still in a "good position"
Autumn, 1901: Also, France, you can finalize your builds...
Autumn, 1901: If I wait, it gives more time for someone to join as Turkey.
Autumn, 1901: Looks like someone has joined. Welcome, young Turk!
Spring, 1902: Today's top story in Italy: Our government has received news of increased funding to France's navy and reports of two new ships in her arsenal. 'The only explanation is France plans on changing our way of life through the use of force and hostile tactics reports one unnamed official. Party leaders don't seem too worried however. 'We have seen this desperate tactic before and it is similar to starting a land war in Asia. In a fitting twist, the only anal treasures France will find will be her own after England ravages her' In the meantime, large quantities of German home brews and Russian vodka were consumed resulting in a large gang bang of Russian soldiers and German women. 'Our military just isn't strong enough. The Russian army was just given Berlin. So now we will just give ourselves to the strapping Russian lads. We prefer vodka anyways.' This was the overwhelming response of millions of German women who left their husbands and pathetic locals. Stay tuned for more current events. Tunis Television out |

Spring, 1902: I didn't know we had a roving gang of Tom Brokaw's in this game.
Autumn, 1902: Sorry for missing my turn everyone. I was away for the weekend. I hope I can continue my plans with each of you.
Autumn, 1903: So I'm guessing we will just cancel this game?
Autumn, 1903: Why >_< | |
Autumn, 1903: I'm going to put up draw/cancel for this one. Too many leavers and inactive players to make even a successful outcome to this game seem deserving.
Autumn, 1903: England, Turkey, *and* Russia. Wow
Autumn, 1903: Ya, it's a very unfortunate game.
Autumn, 1903: Let's just wait for them to be defeated or go CD and then three way draw.
Autumn, 1903: I'd say it's better to include Germany in the draw. He's put in his moves consistently and will never be removed unless I help, something which won't happen while Italy keeps attacking me.
Autumn, 1903: Actually, what I said is untruthful now that I look at the board some more. After a lot of turns Austria could come up through Scandinavia to remove Germany. This would take an awful lot of turns, though.
Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Babar was banned: multi. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player. Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily! |
|
Autumn, 1904: Well that's interesting...
Autumn, 1904: Am I support holding Kiel? Question of the day, am I right France and Italy?
Autumn, 1908: Thanks for sticking it out to the end, Turkey. I admire players like you. Others are much more prone to quit when they seem down on their luck and it tends to ruin the game for everyone else.
Autumn, 1908: I don't see this game progressing past this point. I think we will have to do a threeway draw after Turkey disbands.
Autumn, 1908: Ironic that once you posted that, Turkey went into Civil disorder.
Autumn, 1908: A little haha. He stayed for the important part, at the least. I try to do the players in my games the courtesy of sticking it out to the end.
Autumn, 1909: My holds are in for supporting Munich. If you want this game to go to a draw, Kiel supporting as well would do it. There would even be a possibility to take back a couple. I'm going to try to get some armies in the north but they really aren't necessary as no one can progress as long as the holds are in. I really don't want Austria to get all 379 that is in this pot. After all, he just walked in halfway into this game. |
|
Autumn, 1909: Oops haha. That wasn't meant for global chat. Fortunately, at this point, it doesn't really matter.
Autumn, 1909: I walked in half way to fill a spot that needed to be filled. To try and make this a full game...your welcome.
...Future News Bulletin: The year is 1971 and Austria has *still* not agreed to a draw.
Good game gentlemen. I look forward to playing with you in the future. |
