31 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:Please Your Frozen Penguinness, have mercy! Our peoples mean you no harm!
31 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:Please Your Frozen Penguinness, have mercy! Our peoples mean you no harm!
31 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Antarctica has no natural reserves of Mercy! We would have to trade other nations for this resource.

AND ANTARCTICA DOES NOT TRADE!!!
31 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:The residents of Tierra Del Fuego formally voice their objection to Antarctica's characterization of them as the Warm-North. Such polarization is unnecessary and simplistic. We call upon the governments of Siberia, Russia, and Western Canada to condemn Antarctica's statements and stand together as examples that cold and warm peoples can live together in peace. Furthermore, we assert the deliciousness of butterscotch, both as a flavor and as a scent.
31 Oct 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Libya]:Darn it, Sandy!
01 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:The residents of Antarctica formally voice their objection to ARRRRGGEENNTIINNAAH!!

YOU!!! Loathsome Tropical Freeloader! You have sued for the Right of Cold. Antarctica accepts your challenge. In ancient tradition the challenged names the weapon. I select the Pahc'ta! Ceremonial WALRUS TUSK-SPEAR! You will choose the battlegrounds. If you win our contest, you and your people will no longer be Warm-North. If you lose our contest ...

YOU WILL BE DEAD!!!

WHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
01 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Ghana]:Just a note to Frozen-Antarctica, walruses live in the Arctic, not the Antarctic.
01 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:Oh snap!
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Do you know where else walruses don't live?

GHAANNAA!!!

WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:http://twitter.com/ghanawalrus
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:Fact.
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I'd know that picture from behind forty feet of Grey-Slab. MYYY WAALLLRRUUSSS!!!

What have you done Ghana!? STOLEN my precious Walrus! Hidden him away from me!

THIEVES of the WARM NORTH, I demand the return of the one you call GHANA WALRUS! You shall know the fury of narwhals if I am denied! My penguins will storm your beaches like poltergeists of ice, sowing havoc across all your nations until my will is satisfied! I will have my Walrus BACK! Or by the God of Snow himself ...

I will end us all.
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Argentina]:The narwhals are coming! Quickly, everyone, fall back! Occupy the landlocked high ground!
02 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2000: [Quebec]:It's no use! They are riding glaciers! Those clever southerners brought high ground with them from the Antarctic!
05 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2001: [Ghana]:We are having far too many CDs. Guys, please, if you sign up keep playing.
16 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2003: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I am called back to the Ice. But tear not, warm blooded filth. This is no occasion for your feeble, womanly sorrow. For the ice may melt to slush, and the slush may melt to thin-slush; but one thing is eternal.

MYYY HAAATTTTRRREEED!!!!

THE WARM-NORTH WILL CRUMBLE! The cold can not be destroyed! The sickening warmth of the sun will fade with time. Though Antarctica may crumble, the ICE will triumph. Our kind will return to the snow, and we will wait. Our day of reckoning will come.

And it will be. GLORIOUS!!!

WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
16 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2003: [Quebec]:I'm scared...
16 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2003: [Oz]:Be afraid ... Be very afraid!
19 Nov 12 UTC Autumn, 2003: [Argentina]:I appear to be up against a four-way alliance of Western Canada, Quebec, Ghana, and Kenya. Anybody who wants to help out will be generously rewarded. Send me a message.
22 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Quebec]:It is far too late. Mwahahaha! Prepare to meet your doom at the hands of our poorly planned strategies and hastily thrown together coalition forces.
22 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Quebec]:I miss the crazy Frozen Antarctica guy...
22 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Europe]:Turn the heat off and wear a tux. That's what I've been doing. I think I'm starting to channel him. Or maybe it's the ghost of Burgess Meredith from the 1960s camp Batman series. Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
22 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Argentina]:Yeah, crazy antarctica guy was cool.
23 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Argentina]:Long live the hastily-thrown-together coalition!
23 Nov 12 UTC Spring, 2004: [Argentina]:(Hereafter referred to as the HTTC.)
08 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Europe]:Gentlemen, I am setting Draw right now. I realize that China, PR, and Kenya need to be conquered, but at the same time I am making my position clear. I am ready for this game to end soon. Thank you.
08 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Oz]:I hear you Europe, and I agree.
08 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Me too.
09 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Ghana]:It has been fun, and I agree 100%.
09 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Quebec]:You said it, good game, but it's best to move on.
10 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Ghana]:If Kenya missed again, how many CDs would that put us up to? 10? 15?
11 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Quebec]:Pitiful... put this game out of it's misery. : /
11 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Ghana]:We are getting there Quebec, don't worry but I am not going to vote draw in a situation where a nation with 1 centre will reap the benefits as much as someone like you or me with 14 and 10 respectively.
11 Dec 12 UTC Spring, 2007: [Quebec]:You're right, of course.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Near-East]:Ah,
And here I thought we wanted a draw.
Apparently not.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]:Hey all, (temporary) Europe here. Let me share some of my instructions I was given by Karatur, to clarify the moves. "NE has a history of shooting for the solo. . . . NE has said nothing about agreeing to the draw, so this makes me think that he is thinking about doing hat he does best; trying to solo. So, I am set for draw, as are a few other players, and I have plotted my moves to, frankly, stab NE. I do intend to draw, and I am doing this to make it impossible for NE to solo. I do not intend to change my draw setting after I take three of NE's centers."
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]:My instructions were to attack until NE agrees to the draw, then cease fire. I do not set politics for Karatur, and I will honor his intent fully. Thus the next move is up to Near-East.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]:(cards laid on table, lol)
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Quebec]:Ball's in your court, NE. Sooner you agree to the draw (after this build phase of course), the more points you retain and we can all go home to our families. I haven't seen mine in weeks cause of this game.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Near-East]:How is this possibly all down to me.
Two of the biggest three players haven't agreed to the draw either yet.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]:I didn't write the script NE, I am covering. I also have no knowledge of past history (and don't have time to read all the old messages). Karatur is in a hospital recovering, but I will keep my word with you.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:Ok, I think I see this picture. Europe really does want the draw,I believe. NE, I am the one who alerted Ghana and Europe to your tendency to go solo. I check player home pages, saw the number of solos, saw that you keep a running post of the number of solos for your quote, and spread the word. I did not ask anyone to attack you, but rather that we be careful not to put ourselves in a position to have to fight off a solo attempt. I looks like Europe took that message to heart in a serious way. As long as we all draw then the stab means nothing in terms of points. If Europe holds his draw, then clearly this is his way of strongly suggesting a draw, almost guaranteeing it. As long as Europe holds to the draw setting, then I will not argue with Europe. Ghana has already texted his commitment to a draw after builds, after the center less powers are removed. WC has globalled similar sentiments. NE, you are the only player not to openly text support for a draw. I think that is what the ball-in-your-court reference was about.
I'm happy with a draw. It has been a good game. WC and Quebec rose up as partners, and played the game as the name of the game seems to intend. They practiced diplomacy and hung tough. So, NE, are you willing to draw after builds?
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Ghana]:I as well am happy with a draw, and am merely waiting for the build phase to finish before I put my order in. I, and I am going to try to be politically correct here, understand why Europe attacked. As an insurance measure that we would get the draw. I do not necessarily condone the action, and it is certainly not a decision that I would have made, but I understand why he might have considered it necessary.
Also, lets not give Europe too much flack. He is a stand in player merely playing with the cards that were left to him.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Oz]:+1Ghana
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Western-Canada]:Hi All, Good game but I really do think it is time for Quebec to see his family .. being nearly Christmas and all. Thanks to Europe for stepping in. My Draw vote is now in.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]::) to all
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Near-East]:My draw will be going in once this phase is over so Pacific Russia is out.
13 Dec 12 UTC Autumn, 2007: [Europe]::) :) :)
14 Dec 12 UTC [Oz]:Good game everyone.
14 Dec 12 UTC [Ghana]:Like I promised, I have ordered draw.
